On this Eighties Saturday we are going Punk Rock! Picking eighties punk DailyJams & BonusJams! We each pick a band & specific record and pick two songs each of said album!

Ashlee picks the band the Adolescents & there only album 1981’s “Adolescents“. Picking the song Amoeba for DailyJam & picking the song L.A. Girl for BonusJam!

I (Gene) pick the band Social Distortion! Unlike Ashlee’s pick Social Distortion has put out multiple records over the years but I focus on there first album “ Mommy's Little Monster”. Picking the song Another State Of Mind for DailyJam! For BonusJam I go with the song The Creeps!

I do a much deeper dive and long form vlog on Tuesdays & Friday (ThreeTuneTuesday & NinetiesFriday). On Wednesday & Saturday we usually keep it more brief and just pick tunes to share for Alt2k Wednesday & Eighties Saturday! Enjoy!

When it comes to !PIZZA
I’m quite blessed! I live one hour north of NYC the pizza capital of the world! Plus hour west from New Haven Connecticut which is the second best! I quit eating processed flour & sugar and putting most the weight I lost in 2022 back on post knee Surgury in 2023 but once in a while I partake indeed.

I worked at a pizza shop in high school & on side in early 20’s so I got so much free pizza I got sick of it. It once in a while it’s the best!

A nearby Pappa Leo's pizzaria made the best local pizza hands down. It was more expensive but the quality is far better until my elder son got into making our own pizza fresh baked delish!, nothing frozen at less than half the cost.
