I ordered this 1/4 coin to mix it up since I’m only buying 1/4 ounce gold coins from Perth mint the past year I try to get different designs but normally just go for cheapest. I for once spent a tiny bit extra and ended up getting a limited edition box and fancy stuff (2025 AUS 1/4 Gold 225th Ann.Proclamation Coins Pillar Dollar ) I also spent a little extra & bought a silver coin (2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Lunar Snake BU (Colorized, SIII). I’ll show em off in vlog below! Luckily I ordered with Gold still around $3850 before the pump then dump! We’ll see how much we correct.

The 225th Anniversary of Australian Proclamation Coins
Governor King's 1800 edict addressed a currency crisis afflicting the colony of New South Wales. A significant moment in Australian monetary history, Governor Macquarie brought 40,000 Spanish reales into the colony, modifying them by creating 'holey dollars' (outer rings) and 'dumps (centers). This innovative process led to the first currency minted in Australia.

Well I have exceeded my goal of buying one 1/4 gold coin monthly every month in 2025, I ended up with 16 and 14 of which at good below $3550 price so I’m above water on the premiums paid.

Thanks for swinging by! This is my 10th purchase in 5 months so I’m taking a break until January unless we dip below $3800 Gold price. We shall see! Cheers!

That $25 coin’s King Charles image looks better than our maple’s image, don’t you think?

Personally I think Charles is a eye sore on all the coins he’s on 😂

But jokes aside this one, the Perth mint Australia coins do I find have a better look than its Canadian cousin for sure! !LADY !PIZZA !ALIVE

I preferred the queen's mug myself.

Btw, funny how some think silver has topped. It goes higher from here....

I agree! I always mocked having a king or queen but I definitely preferred her mug!

Nice pieces. I am liking the snake coin. It's a fairly nice snake piece as they put in quite a bit of detail into it.

I'm impressed and still waiting for either of my dealers to import the silver version of this Proclamation coin. This is a break from your usual Stacking at the best possible price style. Welcome to the collecting Dark side 😈.

Modeled after the original Colonial Mexico 8 Reales 'Pillar dollar.'
