Combos Estáticos [ESP|ENG]
¡Hola a todos los atletas de SWC y usuarios de Hive! Espero que se encuentren muy bien. En esta ocasión, quiero compartir una experiencia muy grata que viví recientemente al visitar el parque de barras de Vistamar, ubicado en los departamentos frente a la cancha, aquí en Puerto Cabello. Fue una jornada marcada por el descubrimiento de un nuevo espacio de entrenamiento y la conexión con la comunidad local de calistenia.
Al llegar al parque, me sorprendió gratamente la excelente estructuración del lugar. Cuenta con una buena variedad de barras, lo cual es fundamental para cualquier atleta de SWC que busque versatilidad en sus rutinas. Además de las instalaciones, lo mejor fue conocer a los muchachos que entrenan allí habitualmente. Son personas excelentes con una energía increíble; nos recibieron de la mejor manera y se siente una vibra de hermandad muy fuerte en ese spot.
Para mi entrenamiento de hoy, decidí no enfocarme en una rutina rígida o específica. En lugar de eso, opté por dejar fluir el movimiento practicando mis combos de estáticos. Comencé con algunos intentos de Full Planche para medir mi fuerza de empuje y luego pasé a transiciones de Front Lever a Back Lever, manteniendo siempre el control del core y la técnica en cada hold. Practicar estos elementos en un entorno nuevo siempre ayuda a refrescar la motivación.
Mientras descansaba entre series, aproveché para capturar algunas fotos de los chicos locales en plena acción. Me dejó muy impresionado ver que, a pesar de que algunos son relativamente nuevos en el Street Workout, ya demuestran un nivel considerable. Su técnica en básicos y sus primeros intentos de skills reflejan una dedicación admirable para el poco tiempo que llevan en la disciplina.
Al terminar mis combos de estáticos, decidimos emprender el regreso, ya que el parque queda algo retirado de mi hogar y la tarde estaba cayendo. Me voy con una sensación muy positiva; la infraestructura del parque es de calidad y la comunidad de atletas está más motivada que nunca, siempre yendo por más. Es inspirador ver cómo el deporte sigue creciendo en cada rincón de nuestra ciudad.

Hello to all SWC athletes and Hive users! I hope you are doing very well. On this occasion, I want to share a very pleasant experience I recently had while visiting the Vistamar bar park, located in the apartments in front of the court, here in Puerto Cabello. It was a day marked by the discovery of a new training space and the connection with the local calisthenics community.
Upon arriving at the park, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent layout of the place. It has a great variety of bars, which is fundamental for any SWC athlete looking for versatility in their routines. In addition to the facilities, the best part was meeting the guys who train there regularly. They are excellent people with incredible energy; they welcomed us in the best way and there is a very strong sense of brotherhood in that spot.
For my training today, I decided not to focus on a rigid or specific routine. Instead, I chose to let the movement flow by practicing my static combos. I started with some Full Planche attempts to measure my pushing strength and then moved on to Front Lever to Back Lever transitions, always maintaining core control and technique in each hold. Practicing these elements in a new environment always helps to refresh motivation.
While resting between sets, I took the opportunity to capture some photos of the local guys in action. I was very impressed to see that, even though some are relatively new to Street Workout, they already demonstrate a considerable level. Their technique in basics and their first attempts at skills reflect an admirable dedication for the short time they have been in the discipline.
After finishing my static combos, we decided to head back, as the park is somewhat far from my home and evening was falling. I leave with a very positive feeling; the park's infrastructure is high quality and the community of athletes is more motivated than ever, always going for more. It is inspiring to see how the sport continues to grow in every corner of our city.
