Feline Paralysis (n., fem.): Feline behavioral phenomenon characterized by the voluntary and irresistible immobilization of the human guardian, typically during morning or rest hours, through the cat's strategic placement on the human's body (especially the torso or legs). This action, accompanied by intense purring and an apparent feline stupor, induces in the human a biological and/or emotional obligation to remain still, implicitly canceling any commitments, tasks, or plans scheduled for that period.

Exclusive initiative of the cat, based on its immediate comfort and perception of the human as an optimal thermal surface. Achieved through a combination of distributed weight, body heat, tranquilizing vibrations (purring), and a potential abandonment look if displacement is attempted.

Effect: De facto suspension of human activities ("schedule clearance"), considered by the cat as a necessary service to its own well-being and, far more less important, the guardian's.

Duration: Variable, indeterminate, subject to the feline sleep cycle or human limb numbness.
