Saludos hivers. ¿Qué hace una mariposa lejos de las flores y lejos del verdor. Quizás esté perdida, quizás el viento la obligó a cambiar de rumbo, quizás se distrajo en el camino, o quizás nada de esto, simplemente es una mariposa de ciudad, acostumbrada a revolotear entre las flores que crecen en el cemento, en las macetas de los balcones y a buscar la sombra entre las paredes de los edificios.

Hello, hivers. What's a butterfly doing away from the flowers and the greenery? Perhaps she's lost, perhaps the wind forced her to change course, perhaps she got distracted along the way, or perhaps none of these? She's simply a city butterfly, accustomed to fluttering among the flowers growing on the cement, in the pots on balconies, and seeking shade between the walls of buildings.

La vida de la mayoría de las mariposas es tan corta que su instinto les permite todo, les da la curiosidad y el valor para andar de flor en flor, de la calma de un jardín al agitado mundo de una avenida, del colorido entorno de un bosque al monocromático espacio de un estacionamiento. La mariposa solamente quiere explorar, conocer todo antes de que sus alas se extiendan para alzar su último vuelo hacia el infinito 🦋.

The life of most butterflies is so short that their instinct allows them anything, giving them the curiosity and courage to move from flower to flower, from the calm of a garden to the hectic world of an avenue, from the colorful surroundings of a forest to the monochromatic space of a parking lot. Esta amiga descansaba en uno de los vidrios de una de las ventanas de los pasillos del edificio, he visto esta especie con mucha frecuencia, tanto en mi edificio como en la ciudad y el parque, lo que me hace pensar que son bastante aventureras y no solamente piensan en las flores jejeje.

This friend was resting on one of the windows in the building's hallways. I've seen this species very frequently, both in my building and in the city and park, which makes me think they're quite adventurous and don't just think about flowers, hahaha.

Esta mariposa pertenece al género Taygetis, específicamente al Taygetis Thamyra, y también se le conoce como el sátiro de Andrómeda. Estaba de lo más tranquila, pero apenas se dió cuenta que la estaba fotografiando, empezó a ponerse juguetona y a esconderse detrás del vidrio, como si quisiera regalarme algunas poses diferentes y más creativas, así que no pude desaprovechar esa generosidad jajaja 😁🤷🏻‍♀️.

This butterfly belongs to the genus Taygetis, specifically Taygetis thamyra, and is also known as the Andromeda satyr. She was perfectly calm, but as soon as she realized I was photographing her, she started getting playful and hiding behind the glass, as if she wanted to give me some different, more creative poses, so I couldn't waste that generosity, hahaha 😁🤷🏻‍♀️.
