Saludos hivers. La calle es uno de los escenarios mas generosos en cuanto a imágenes para hacer fotos, la temática es prácticamente infinita y la posibilidad de encontrar lo que uno está buscando para fotografiar es relativamente alta, aunque la mayoría de las veces son las fotos las que nos encuentran a nosotros jajaja, incluso cuando teníamos otras cosas en mente 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Hello hivers. The street is one of the most generous settings for taking photos, the subject matter is practically infinite, and the possibility of finding what you're looking for to photograph is relatively high, although most of the time it's the photos that find us, hahaha, even when we had other things in mind 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Al menos que uno sea fotógrafo y con una cámara en el cuello, o simplemente ande en la calle pendiente de cualquier buena foto para sacar el celular y usar la cámara, la mayor parte de las buenas imágenes que aparecen frente a nosotros, pasan y se quedan en nuestra memoria, pero otras veces tenemos mas suerte y podemos congelarlas en el tiempo y compartirlas con los demás.

Unless you're a photographer with a camera around your neck, or you're just walking around looking for any good photo to take out your phone and use the camera, most of the good images that appear in front of us pass by and stay in our memory, but other times we're luckier and we can freeze them in time and share them with others.

Las imágenes que comparto hoy me gustaron porque comparten la simplicidad de lo cotidiano, una niña sentada frente a su casa, un aviso que ofrece un servicio, la silla de alguien a quien le gusta sentarse a ver a las personas pasar por esa calle, una enredadera haciendo su camino sobre un poste de electricidad, unos hombres arreglando una bicicleta y otros disfrutando de un merienda, el reflejo sobre un charco de agua, las hojas de otoño rodeando una carretera, la simetría de unas barras paralelas y una mujer esperando el autobús.

The images I'm sharing today appeal to me because they capture the simplicity of everyday life: a girl sitting in front of her house, a sign advertising a service, someone sitting in a chair watching people pass by on that street, a vine climbing up an electric pole, men fixing a bicycle and others enjoying a snack, a reflection in a puddle, autumn leaves surrounding a road, the symmetry of parallel bars, and a woman waiting for the bus.

En estas fotos no hay poses ni pretensiones, lo que no significa que no pueda haber algo interesante en ellas ya que incluso lo más cotidiano nos puede ofrecer una visión diferente cuando le prestamos la debida atención.

These photos are unposed and unpretentious, which doesn't mean there can't be something interesting in them, since even the most everyday things can offer us a different perspective when we pay attention to them.

La fotografía callejera es muy diferente a la que habitualmente me gusta hacer, que es la de la naturaleza, insectos y animales, no solamente porque requiere de ciertas habilidades para pasar desapercibido y no meterse en problemas por estar fotografiando a las personas sin su consentimiento 😬 jajaja 🙈, sino porque también el escenario donde uno se desenvuelve es mas acelerado 🥴, así que la pondré en mi lista de tareas pendientes, ya que como me saca de mi zona de confort, seguramente me aportará nuevos conocimientos y formas de abordar el arte de capturar buenas imágenes con un lente 📸😉.

Street photography is very different from what I usually like to do, which is nature, insects, and animals. Not only does it require certain skills to go unnoticed and avoid getting into trouble for photographing people without their consent 😬 hahaha 🙈, but the environment is also much faster-paced 🥴. So, I'll add it to my to-do list, because since it takes me out of my comfort zone, it will surely give me new knowledge and ways to approach the art of capturing good images with a lens 📸😉.
