Saludos hivers. Hoy agarré nuevamente mis creyones de óleo pastel, mi block de dibujo y busqué inspiración en las aguas del océano para traerles una creación artística que espero sea de su agrado.

Hello hivers. Today I picked up my oil pastel crayons and my sketchbook again and sought inspiration in the ocean waters to bring you an artistic creation that I hope you will enjoy.

El protagonista de hoy es un pez ángel francés (Pomacanthus paru) en edad juvenil, veamos como fue cobrando vida. Para hacer este dibujo utilicé creyones de óleo pastel, lápiz, borrador, marcadores negro y azul y mi block de dibujo. Hice el marco con el marcador azul y un boceto geométrico y ahí empecé a darle forma a esta creación artística.

Today's subject is a juvenile French angelfish (Pomacanthus paru). Let's see how it came to life. To create this drawing, I used oil pastel crayons, pencil, eraser, black and blue markers, and my sketchbook. I made the frame with the blue marker and a geometric sketch, and from there I began to give shape to this artistic creation.

Esta especie habita en las aguas del océano Atlántico y el Caribe, y una de sus particularidades es que al entrar en la etapa adulta cambian de color, pierden estas líneas amarillas verticales, su cuerpo se pone negro y las escamas se vuelven de un color amarillo dorado, la cabeza pasa a ser verde, la boca blanca y el borde del ojo, amarillo, en pocas palabras, un cambio de look total jajaja. Mi modelo es aún un adolescente así que usé amarillo en sus franjas y un poquito de tonos azules para la punta de sus aletas.

This species inhabits the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean, and one of its unique characteristics is that upon reaching adulthood, it changes color. He loses his vertical yellow stripes, his body turns black, his scales become golden yellow, his head turns green, his mouth white, and the rim of his eye yellow, in short, a complete makeover! My model is still a teenager, so I used yellow for his stripes and a touch of blue for the tips of his fins.

Esta especie vive y se alimenta entre corales, rocas y algas y por lo general prefieren estar en aguas entre los 3 y 100 metros de profundidad. Usé tonos crema, gris, marrón, naranja y negro para colorear las rocas.

This species lives and feeds among corals, rocks, and algae, and generally prefers waters between 3 and 100 meters deep. I used cream, gray, brown, orange, and black tones to color the rocks.

Ahora llegó el turno del color negro que ayuda a resaltar de una forma maravillosa las franjas amarillas de este encantador pecesito 🐠😁. Con un poquito de naranja coloreé el borde del ojo y para el iris usé un marcador negro. Para el efecto semi transparente de la aleta usé gris.

Now it's time for black, which beautifully highlights the yellow stripes of this charming little fish 🐠😁. I used a touch of orange to color the edge of the eye, and a black marker for the iris. I used gray for the semi-transparent effect of the fin.

Como les estaba comentando, el pez ángel francés vive cerca de los arrecifes de coral, donde las aguas son bastante claras y cristalinas así que nada mejor que el azul celeste para crear esta pacífica atmósfera marina 💙. Agregué un poquito de azul mas oscuro en el fondo y algunos toques de verde hacia la parte de arriba.

As I was saying, the French angelfish lives near coral reefs, where the waters are quite clear and crystalline, so nothing beats sky blue to create this peaceful marine atmosphere 💙. I added a little darker blue to the background and some touches of green towards the top.

Y aquí está el resultado final, no sé que piensan ustedes pero a mí me encantaría estar ahí adentro buceando y nadando junto a este hermoso pecesito 🐠🤿🏊🏻‍♀️😃.
