Los aretes, pendientes o zarcillos, como generalmente les decimos aquí en Venezuela, son uno de los accesorios más populares entre las mujeres, su uso se remonta a la edad de bronce, donde eran muy usados por los asirios, posteriormente su uso se extendió a los egipcios, los fenicios y otros pueblos orientales, pero también entre los griegos y los romanos.

Hello hivers. Earrings, or tendrils, as we generally call them here in Venezuela, are one of the most popular accessories among women, their use dates back to the Bronze Age, where they were widely used by the Assyrians, later their use extended to the Egyptians, the Phoenicians and other eastern peoples, but also among the Greeks and Romans.

En lo personal, tengo muchísimos zarcillos, 85 para ser más exacta jejeje, y los tengo de todos los tamaños, formas, colores, figuras y materiales, me parecen un accesorio muy interesante y que puede aportar mucho estilo, alegría y atractivo a nuestro atuendo. Unos zarcillos muy llamativos sin duda van a hacernos sentir protagonistas jejeje y de hecho, me ha pasado en muchas ocasiones 😎💃🏻. Les muestro mi colección.

Mi primer encuentro con este accesorio fue bastante traumático y particular, y ocurrió cuando yo era un bebé, por supuesto que yo no me acuerdo de nada jajaja, pero mi mamá me ha contado muchas veces esta historia y la verdad es que siempre me ha parecido muy graciosa jajaja. Cuando yo tenía poco más de un año, mi mamá me llevó a una joyería para que me perforaran las orejas, pero resulta que me dolió tanto y me puse tan arisca que sólo pudieron ponerme un zarcillo 😬🤭, así que le dijeron a mi mamá que lo mejor era dejar pasar unos días antes de perforar la otra oreja para dar tiempo que se me olvidase el asunto. Así que estuve tres o cuatro días con un sólo zarcillo jejeje 😎😂🤣🤷🏻‍♀️.

My first encounter with this accessory was quite particular and traumatic and occurred when I was a baby, of course I don't remember anything hahaha, but my mother has told me this story many times and the truth is that I have always found it very funny hahaha. When I was a little over a year old, my mom took me to a jewelry store to get my ears pierced, but it turned out that it hurt me so much and I got so angry that they could only put an earring on me 😬🤭, so they told my mom it was better to let a few days pass before piercing the other ear to give me time to forget about it. So I spent three or four days with just one earring hehehe 😎😂🤣🤷🏻‍♀️.

Empezaré esta exhibición con mis zarcillos más viejos. Durante mi infancia perdí varios jugando, nadando en la playa y en fiestas, y cuando me daba cuenta sólo tenía uno 😬, así que sólo me quedan estos 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Estos hermosas zarcillos de Fridas los compré en una feria artesanal, están inspirados en las muñecas japonesas. Recuerdo que la señora que los hacía los vendía como pan caliente jejeje, me gustaron tanto que compré cuatro 😁, son todos diferentes, no hay pares iguales y eso los hace más llamativos, la gente siempre los mira cuando me los pongo / I bought these beautiful Fridas earrings at a craft fair, they are inspired by Japanese dolls. I remember that the lady who made them sold them like hotcakes hehehe, I liked them so much that I bought four 😁, they are all different, there are no identical pairs and that makes them more striking, people always look them when I used them

Los de la foto que sigue están hechos en diferentes materiales, los de lunas, sol y los duendes son de masa flexible, los de abajo a la izquierda tienen piedritas naturales, los loros están hechos de madera, cada uno tenía una pluma que colgaba por la parte de abajo pero se dañaron 😕, los azules largos son de vidrio y los otros dos de cuentas.

The ones in the photo below are made of different materials, the ones with moons, sun and the elves are made of flexible dough, the ones on the bottom left have natural pebbles, the parrots are made of wood, each one had a feather hanging from it on the bottom part but they were damaged 😕, the long blue ones are made of glass and the other two are made of beads.

No todos mis zarcillos están así sueltos, tengo muchos que guardo en sus cajitas y así se conservan mejor y de manera más ordenada. Estos zarcillos son de una empresa por catálogo que se distribuye en tres marcas, LBEL, Cyzone y Esika, tienen perfumes, productos de cuidado facial y corporal, accesorios, productos para el cabello e incluso ropa, carteras y algunas cosas para el hogar, yo vendía estos productos, son muy buenos, y como verán, yo también aprovechaba y compraba mis cositas jejeje.

Estos se llaman Discovery, hay una anécdota con ellos. No los compré para mí, me los había pedido una compañera de trabajo después de ver los catálogos, cuando me llegaron y se los entregué, los abrió y resulta que uno de los zarcillos estaba manchado y no los quiso 😕, yo no podía devolverlos porque eran mercancía que estaba en oferta y no tenía devolución, así que me los quedé, como soy tan creativa y siempre le consigo una solución a casi todo, se me ocurrió envolver la parte manchada con hilo y pega así que los dos se transformaron en un nuevo modelo jajaja 😉 / These are called Discovery, there is an anecdote with them. El plástico es un material muy popular, sin embargo solo tengo dos pares de zarcillos de plástico, las flores negras y los morados con estrellas, me los regalaron unas amigas. Muchos zarcillos que tengo los he comprado en la playa o en ferias y no traen caja ni cartón así que para tenerlos organizados hice hace tiempo una trenza con hilo de lana que la tengo colgada en mi closet y ahí están enganchados todos estos zarcillos. Los que venían en caja pues están en sus estuches. Cuando me quiero poner alguno sé dónde está y no tengo que estar buscando ni perdiendo tiempo.
