Saludos hivers. De la naturaleza me enamora todo, sus colores, los paisajes, la variedad tan increíble y fascinante de animales y plantas, los aromas, los sonidos, la energía y a la vez quietud que siento cuando estoy en ella, entre muchas otras cosas. Pero hoy les traigo algo particular que por lo general no le prestamos mucha atención.

Hello, hivers. I love everything about nature: her colors, the landscapes, the incredible and fascinating variety of animals and plants, the aromas, the sounds, the energy and, at the same time, the stillness I feel when I'm surrounded by her, among many other things. But today I'm bringing you something special that we don't usually pay much attention to.

Desde el año pasado me he empezado a fijar con más detenimiento en las hojas 🍂 🍃, esa parte tan importante y llamativa que cubre los árboles y la plantas, creo que se ha convertido en una especie de obsesión para mí así que cada vez que voy al parque y veo esa inmensa alfombra de hojas de todos los tamaños formas y colores que va cubriendo sus áreas verdes y caminerías, empieza mi búsqueda de hojas, en realidad, mas que una búsqueda es una observación detallada de lo que está bajo mis pies. Aquí les traigo la primera parte de una colección de ellas, espero que la disfruten 🍃🍂☺️.

Since last year I have started to pay more attention to the leaves 🍂 🍃, that very important and striking part that covers the trees and plants, I think it has become a kind of obsession for me so every time I go to the park and see that immense carpet of leaves of all sizes, shapes and colors that covers its green areas and walkways, my search for leaves begins, actually, more than a search it's a detailed observation of what is under my feet. Here I bring you the first part of a collection of them, I hope you enjoy it 🍃🍂☺️.

Una de las cosas más maravillosas de las hojas es que incluso habiendo sido parte del mismo árbol y habiendo tenido una apariencia casi exacta mientras colgaban de las ramas, a medida que van cayendo, cada una de ellas empieza a transformarse de una manera diferente, lo que la hará totalmente única y por ende, todas tan diferentes entre sí.

One of the most wonderful things about leaves is that even though they were all part of the same tree and had an almost exact appearance while hanging from the branches, as they fall, each one begins to transform in a different way, making it totally unique and therefore all so different from each other.

Las hojas son el órgano esencial de respiración, transpiración y asimilación de la clorofila de la planta y a través de la fotosíntesis se encargan de elaborar las sustancias de nutrición para la misma. Aunque generalmente son de color verde, también las hay de color morado, marrón, amarillo, rojo, etc, esta característica depende en gran parte del medio ambiente donde se desarrolle la planta. El tamaño de las hojas también está relacionado con el ambiente, las hojas grandes son típicas de las selvas tropicales mientras que en los climas secos suelen ser pequeñas.

Leaves are the essential organs of respiration, transpiration, and chlorophyll absorption in plants. They are responsible for producing nutrients through photosynthesis. Although they are generally green, they also come in purple, brown, yellow, red, and other colors. This characteristic largely depends on the environment in which the plant grows. Leaf size is also related to the environment; large leaves are typical of tropical rainforests, while in dry climates they tend to be small.

En mis exploraciones domingueras en el parque me he encontrado hojas secas con los típicos colores cálidos del otoño como marrón, ocre, tabaco y amarillo, pero también me he conseguido con hojas más vanguardistas si se puede decir jajaja que han llamado mi atención con sus colores vivos e inusuales. Otra de las cosas que más me gusta es ver los diseños que se han formado sobre ellas ya sea por efecto del sol, la lluvia, los insectos, etc., algunas tienen huecos, manchas, decoloraciones, les falta algún pedazo o se han doblado y han cambiado de forma.

During my Sunday explorations in the park, I've come across dried leaves with the typical warm colors of autumn, such as brown, ochre, tobacco, and yellow, but I've also come across more avant-garde leaves, if I may say so, hahaha, that have caught my attention with their vivid and unusual colors. Another thing I like most is seeing the designs that have formed on them, whether due to the effect of the sun, rain, insects, etc. Some have holes, stains, discoloration, are missing a piece, or have bent and changed shape.

Es infinita la variedad de diseños únicos que podemos encontrar entre las hojas que se han caído y esparcido en un parque, una selva o incluso en nuestro propio jardín, al igual que nosostros, cada una de ellas se irá transformando según las condiciones que la rodeen para convertirse en una pequeña obra de arte, ya sea que tenga un estilo abstracto, moderno, gótico, impresionista o simple jejeje, cada una de ellas será única e irrepetible, así como tú, yo y todos.

The variety of unique designs that we can find among the leaves that have fallen and scattered in a park, a jungle or even in our own garden is endless, just like us, each one of them will transform according to the conditions that surround it to become a small work of art, whether it has an abstract, modern, gothic, impressionist or simple style hehehe, each one of them will be unique and unrepeatable, just like you, me and everyone.
