I totally understand what you're talking about with the HUD, especially in this game. I've had that problem with some games, and the truth is, older ones don't have the option to hide the HUD. I have one that I'm sharing a lot that has the ability to hide them, but it's just a matter of habit.

There were too many distracting elements here but they offer a good amount of custom settings for those.
