Altered direction.
.

For a month or so now I have been thinking about this post. Well not the post itself, but the content within.
The Gamesupport account was set up back in September. I think it was the last week of. The idea behind the account was to provide a basic support to the game Risingstargame. I feel it did have an impact back then on the STARBITS and card pricing. Although it more helped maintain the existing values tan increase them.
Over 100,000 cards sent to the grave over the period. Much more than that. A while ago it was counted at 110,000. For the most part averaging 1,000 cards a day. More at the start because the prices were so low.
Since the opening of the pawn shop and other facilitation's the game has implemented. The need for the gamesupport account to purchase cards has diminished drastically. The impact we can have is becoming minimal with the purchase of cards.
The side kick to gamesupport was the purchase of STARBITS which needed to be done for card purchase. All of the STARBITS purchased went to cards. The STARBITS however could just as easy end up back on the market. Unlike the cards, they got burned.

The account has done what it was intended to do. The logic in continuing to do the same is no longer there. I do not want to halt the support for the game.
For a month or so I have been tinkering around the performance and ability to keep doing what we were doing with the cards. I just do not see the benefits to the game anymore.
When I look to Risingstargame and compare it to other games people have put on the chain. It is the only game that was not a grab the money scheme. Every other game dev took the money and ignored the players.
There's the reason I am dedicated to Risingstargame. It did not try to deceive people. It was not about getting the money securing it and the effort to the game drops after. Those who used their Hive to help get the game started and provide a players base got feck all thanks from any of them. They done nothing to secure a value for their token.
Even if the game was shite. The value of the token would keep them playing.

A new directions.
To maintain support for the game. Which for the moment anyway I think it could still use. A change to the gamesupport account is needed. I had been thinking or trying to think of a different route the account can take to provide this support.
(Doing 5 minute missions on crafting right now. So not try write a post while doing 5 minute missions. ha)
I was over thinking things. Trying to replace cards with something else. There is no need to find a replacement. In yesterdays post
https://peakd.com/risingstar/@gamesupport/cards-or-tokens I mentioned about using the HIVE to just buy the game tokens. STARBITS and STARPRO. I got agreement on this that the change might prove beneficial.
The STARPRO was not mentioned in the agreeing. On reflection over night I think the purchase of STARPRO would have a negative impact of sorts too.
The purchase of just STARBITS though. That I think is the better option highlighted to me. This is the way the account is going to go.
The STARBITS purchased will be sent to the rsgraveyard2 account. The same place the cards were going. There is no chance in this process that the STARBITS end up back on the market.
Now here is the thing with this. Those tokens were purchased not earned. If at any time in the future Jux has a use for the tokens. (I very much doubt that.) They will be available fr Jux and only Jux to make use of.
Any players see any negative side to this change. Let's talk.

Concept.
The concept is three easy steps.
- Build a generator.
- Fuel it.
- Let it run.
How you view or interpret what those three things mean, may differ from mine. That's the magic.
This project is acting as a proof of concept. Generator built fueled and running.
On a small scale it shows the power of people working together to improve things for everyone. Regardless of social standing. The benefits are equal to everyone. The equity is equal to input, the effort you put in, is the reward you get. (With random luck on cards selection).
Scale it up. Providing a demand for HBD and HIVE.

I think this makes a lot of sense and I thank you for continuing to support the game.
The STARBITS market has been very quiet recently so any regular purchases are going to help.
With BTC at an all time high and HIVE looking like it wants to slowly head in the right direction I am hoping your support will become less and less important but we are not there yet!
Thanks again.
I be here for you in any way I can help you.
