I met an AI
That's right folks, a couple days ago I met an AI (and I think you all know how much I fucken hate AI).
I should probably and an 'F' in there though and make it AFI - I met an absolute fucken idiot.
I don't want to go into details here because it's none of your business but, suffice it to say, the person I'm talking about was well-qualified to wear the label "AFI" for many reasons.
I really want to tell you about the situation, it's sort of comical, although reasonably tragic at the same time - it's not something I want to put on the blockchain though.
Thinking back on it later, evaluating the situation to determine if my initial assessment was valid, confirmed that it actually was - my AFI radar, was fully functional and accurate. But I was thinking something else as well.
Just because I thought the individual was an absolute fucken idiot it doesn't mean that anyone else does, or would. So, was the person actually an absolute fucken idiot generally and all the time or was that simply my impression based on snippets of contact.
Could it be that I was wrong? Could it be that my AFI radar was malfunctioning? Was I overly judgmental based on only a limited amount of information? All possible of course, but then I decided that if I felt that the person was an absolute fucking idiot then that was good enough - my opinion, based on my experience, is enough from which to draw my own conclusions. This, of course, doesn't mean my opinion cannot change, I think there needs to be room for that, and in the past I've changed my initial opinions from time to time. It also doesn't mean that anyone else would think the same although I suspect many do about this particular person.
Have you ever met someone you felt was an AFI? (Absolute fucken idiots are everywhere after all.)
Absolute fucken idiots are widespread and it's feasible to think you're close by one or more of them daily, and even right now in fact - look around, do you see any? Maybe it's you! Ok, probably not, it's unlikely you'd think you, yourself, were an absolute fucken idiot I presume.
Have you made the AFI assessment then decided to change your mind? Did the person prove otherwise in some way to cause your change of mind, or did they actually confirm it with you?

Almost 6$ for fish and chips plus a small drink doesn't seems a bad deal, definitely cheaper than anything at Mc Donald (and probably better than that crap)
I usually don't really interact more than necessary when I'm out, so the chances to meet and discover idiots are reduced, usually it's an easy catch, as soon as that person opens mouth to say something it's clear enough, or just a few stupid actions too... My ex doctor was an idiot, he wouldn't give the birth control pills cause he was catholic and didn't want to "kill" newborns, parents in the supermarket or restaurants leaving the little kids like zombies in front of a screen are idiots... And in general the first impression never get changed
There's so many idiots out there, the world is infested with them, fucken zombies. I try not to interact but sometimes it's unavoidable I suppose.
How about that fucken doctor huh? I don't think it's valid that someone in that role should be able toake moral decisions on behalf of others based on religion. Fucken religion.
The problem with the doctor was that here there aren't really many free doctors, all are full and you can't change, my wife was gonna go argue and such, i thought like "you can't argue with an idiot, it's a waste of time", but idiots are easy to outsmart, so I told him like "oh but that's not for birth control! It's for periods invalidating pains!" and he then gave them without complain 😂
As a woman I find it quite disturbing that a person can make such decisions on my behalf, tell me I can or cannot have birth control. It happens here too now and then and other things as well, I feel that it's disgusting. I'm pleased you found a work-around.

Exactly, every person should be able to decide for its own body... Personal opinions or religious stuff shouldn't be involved in secular things... Yet we have to deal with this, and win over the ignorance

Ok, first... how the hell can you tell me you had a situation that is both comical and tragic at the same time and then not write about it?! I'm bored right now and most of all curious! 😂 And second... if there's a person who has never met someone who is AFI... they're probably lying 😂 I met someone who was a big, big jerk, but over time, I changed my mind because it was just his face... 😂😒 I was judging him before I even have deep conversation with him. My bad, and I also told him 😂 but there were other surprises... I thought the person was a sweetheart, but she was fucking idiot! And this wasn't the only case 😂
It's good when someone we thought was an idiot turns out not to be and the reverse isn't so good. But I think there's more AFI's then non AFI'S.

I moved to another country many years ago, and now when I meet one, I just say I don't speak this language 😂It works with coworkers, but here I'm not lying because they speak the language poorly and I don't understand them. I mean…is hard to understand when you try to tell me with hands that someone is vomiting…funny story actually 😂It's just… oh boy, how many stupid coworkers I've had/have… mostly I avoid them, but damn, some are really idiots, yes… AFI! You have worked in healthcare for 20 years, and you don't know how to measure blood pressure?!?! I ask myself so many times where those people bought their diplomas 😩
That's a concern here too, healthcare workers who don't really know what they're doing. They tend to come from other countries and due to language barriers or fucken stupidity they just don't get it. I'd close the borders after ejecting such people if I ran the country.
Even though I'm not from this country, I would never work in healthcare without learning the language. That's why I waited and went to school here. But man... I can't understand how they can hire people who don't understand simple words needed in this profession 😒 I won't even complain about the school system in some countries because sometimes I'm not sure if the person is so dumb or if the school system failed them…
They called me dumb in school, one of my high school teachers said, "you will never amount to anything."
Well, her prediction was the complete opposite of what I actually created in my life because I have a very comfortable life (far more than comfortable actually), have had a professional career that has made a significant difference to many people, rewarded me in many ways, solid relationships, travelled the world, the material things I've needed and wanted and so on...I've been intelligent enough to invest wisely, educate myself and work hard towards what I've wanted and to have a code if integrity and honour I stand by.
Seems I didn't amount to nothing at all.
So, as for school systems failing...possibly to some degree. But just because a school system fails doesn't mean the student has an excuse for failure. In fact, it's simply the reason the student should work harder personally to ensure the failure of the school (and dumb-ass teachers) doesn't perpetuate into the rest of their lives.
That's absolutely true, there are idiots everywhere and the sheer number of them is frightening. Could it be that our brains are deteriorating?
It's happened to me that I give someone a chance, telling myself, “They can't be that stupid,” and then they end up doing something that confirms it unequivocally and even exaggeratedly, from people on the street, people who serve me in stores, to people I know who don't realize that the stupid things they do will come back to haunt them. I think my radar never fails.
Idiocy is like a plague so many people catch these days.

I deal with people like that all the time pretty much every day. Though to be fair, they might feel the same way about me, so who knows. One of them even has an advanced degree and I keep saying to my wife they are the dumbest doctor I know.
Indeed, it's amazing how some people managed to gain certificates and positions of authority and yet are AFI's.

At first glance, I think many AFI around.
At second glance, I notice that many of them, may not be AFI when taking a 360 degrees.
I realise many dont apply logic to what they think, say and execute. In my book, such an individual can become AFI quickly.
However, what I also learned is that many who have problems with applying logic, can be very good in other things, like helping people on an emotional level, being available at all times, and such like that. That is the reason I have quite a different range of characters in my friends circle. From logical thinkers to emotional individuals. From scientifically grounded individuals to highly practical people. I love the variety.
All in all, the number of AFI reducted a lot over the years when I started to take 360 degrees views at people, and discovered AFI category should not be applied to quickly and is not related to logic and efficiency in understanding and executing logical tasks.
There's many different types of people and I think everyone has good and bad aspects. Of course, there's many who are simply wankers from any angle.
Not sure about many wankers, for sure some.
Then again, words like 'many' and 'some' are so relative 🥳
