Why so much waste in the world?

Walking through the big city, I came across this horrible scene, which hurt me to see. It's just a few tomatoes thrown on the street. If we look at our trash, food usually takes up between 30 to 35% of what's lost and thrown away, according to global statistics. Don't believe me? Go Google it and you'll see it's true.

It hurt me because I grew up with many hardships, in a place where nothing could be wasted because if we wasted something, we might go without eating. And that's not the point of life, right? So when I saw this scene, I was saddened because I've seen it thousands of times in restaurants, markets, where they prefer to throw away food rather than let it be used by hungry people.

There are hungry people in this world, and while some may be lazy, others are struggling due to circumstances beyond their control. I don't understand why life seems to conspire against them, keeping them hungry. I've read sad stories of people at buffets who take and take food they won't even eat just because it's paid for, and then throw it away without a second thought.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, many people are struggling with hunger. Maybe not far from here, there are people who could be struggling. Sometimes we don't know, but I've seen it in my own communities where I've grown up, lived, and moved around. There are people struggling due to lack of food or maybe not just food, but a balanced diet.

This reflection is for when you think about throwing away food. Think about what you're doing. Food is the most essential element of life, and we should make sure everyone has access to it. If you have leftovers, share them, don't throw them away. Thanks for visiting, and remember, this is original content, including photos.

On one occasion I went to buy a coffee and a chicken pie, I sat down, while I was enjoying those foods I saw a girl throwing away the pastries that were left over from the day before in a bag, I know they were from the day before because one of the cleaning workers at the shopping center receives them and immediately throws them into the garbage, it made me sad to see this, they threw away about 7 pastries, something that would feed 7 children, I did NOT buy anything there again

Some things are taken for granted. Sad because others consider them wastes while others might need them to live. !BBH !PIZZA !LOLZ
