Conclave Arcana - Four More Days to the Start of the Presale

Everyone is free to do their own math, planning, and decisions, whether they are involved in Splinterlands or not, but we all should better be aware of trends when they happen, especially when they are very predictable. And especially when trends haven't been very rewarding with us in 2025 yet.

The presale for the newest set for Splinterlands starts in 4 days and a few hours. There is a lot of excitement around that, and many decided to buy in, particularly big whales. I even heard Matt saying that he aims to have a full set of Black Foil cards. Damn, that would be cool to have! But very unlikely for 99.999% of us.

Matt made some calculations being asked to, and if the entire set sells out and all packs are open and no packs are burned throughout its lifetime (meaning constant high buy pressure every day - very unlikely!), and if half of the packs would be opened with Midnight Potions, there would only be:

• 60 Legendary BF
• 180 Epic BF
• 240 Rare BF
• 900 Common BF

Very likely, these numbers won't be reached given the many simultaneous conditions that need to happen, so we should expect much rarer black foil cards.

If there will be only as many pack sales as for Rebellion (which Matt hopes they'd be exceeded, and I think so too), only about 7 Legendary BF would exist. Note that we are not talking about Black Foil Arcana, the foil with the collectible numbering.

I also heard in the podcast I linked above, that @cryptomancer sold a GF Heloise for roughly 15,000 dollars (only 5 in existence, 100 all, including RF). That's important to have an idea about the price we could expect for BF cards. I was aiming much lower, but this is game-changing money for many people around the world, particularly since, if someone is extremely lucky, they could get such a card with 4,000 DEC.

Inleo Released LeoDex V3

I wrote about it before this week, so I won't make another long presentation.

What does LeoDex v3 bring to the table?

• Integrations of Thorchain, ChainFlip, Rango, and a couple of new wallets
• access to new ecosystems and assets
• the option to choose your preferred route, based on fees or time needed to complete the transaction
• possibility to swap from one wallet to another
• other improvements

What's missing?

For the time being, the connection with Hive has been severed in v3 at the interface level, because Hive Keychain is temporarily disabled as a login option. Khal said it will be enabled again, but he also said other wallets have priority because they bring more volume, thus fees.

Next Project to Focus on TheDappList: Ecency

If you follow the call to action series (with rewards) facilitated by @coldbeetrootsoup regarding voting up onto trending our Hive projects on TheDappList, with a different project proposed every Friday, today is the turn of Ecency to be voted.

What's the Situation with Distriator in Venezuela?

Coming after a post by @hallman where he wonders what happened with Hive in Venezuela, @danielvehe attempts to answer this. He thinks the exchange rates play an important role on why the activity of HBD payments in Venezuala dropped from ATHs.

Hive Borehole 21 Was Launched

The 21st Hive borehole in Ghana was launched this week, after going through all the regular phases.

Hard Fork 28 Is Approaching

I don't know the date, but the new code is already running on a new mirrornet for the final tests.

Keychain Updates

A new feature to export via QR code makes it easier to export and import Hive accounts from browser-to-mobile, or mobile-to-mobile.

Exporting financial transactions was added to mobile apps too.

Keychain also put out a new DHF proposal.

VSC Before Another DHF Proposal Verdict

VSC was launched at the end of March with their defi app Altera slated to come out until the end of April. We see from their post PeakD is testing to integrate with VSC, and Keychain let us know they are working on the same thing.

VSC is planning on doubling their development team size, plus adding @lordbutterfly to the team as Business Development Leader. As a result, the daily payout would almost double compared to this year for VSC. Hopefully, the speed of development will see a significant pace increase as well...

If you have a Hive Debit Card or you are a business owner who would like to accept payments in HBD or Lightning via a Hive Debit Card, this short tutorial will help. Only Android devices so far.

A New... Beem

Beem was a popular developer library for Hive, but it's currently not maintained. @ecoinstant and @thecrazygym have taken upon themselves to revive that into a new library called Hive Nectar.

It's not the only thing they've been working on. Here's a small but useful tool at times for finding your posts on Hive and their corresponding links as markdown.

INCOME Project on Hive-Engine Winding Down

@ecoinstant published an announcement saying the Income project started to power down. It will be reorganized into something else, without daily dividends and curation digests in the future, but no details have been provided.

The decision was likely taken following ongoing debates about what is acceptable practices nowadays when it comes to curation, vote trading, etc.

Curation on Hive... Heated Debates

Dust hasn't settled on this. It may have not even started yet. Soo... better get informed on what's being discussed around curation.

Games

COLONY Airdrop Now... Doubled

According to the whitepaper, as we enter the 2nd year of the airdrop schedule, the total amount of COLONY airdrop is doubled, for both the GLX and SPS shakeholders. This is from a support article.

New airdrop amount already been going out for two days, after a short interruption to make the updates.

dCrops is 4!

It's nice to see projects on Hive having multi-year anniversaries. dCrops is one of them, and they seem to have some special events going on. Happy birthday, dCrops!

dCity Updates

dCity made some updates on taxes. They also reward young citizens for HIVE delegations, for anyone interested.

They also teased new developments to the game, including a 4th edition cards presale and a SIM BOX NFTs collection drop for SIM Club members.

A Prize Has Been Offered For Breaking Bitcoin Cryptographic Key

Quantum Computing Group offers 1 BTC to the first to break the cryptographic key of bitcoin using quantum computers. The threat is there when quantum will be more powerful and stable, but also protections against quantum attacks started to be conceived, but it's hard to make people embrace them when the threat isn't imminent, and the changes needed aren't minor.

Solana Looking for the Best Proposal to Curb Their Inflation Rate

Solana started with a 8% annual inflation, decreasing annually by 15%, and slated to go down to the minimum of 1.5%, where it would stop. They are looking for ways to speed up the decline in new Solana inflation.
