Poisoned Gifts with Long Term Plans Attached

I suppose you are aware about the US Aid subject and how it related to George Soros. I admit I didn't know what US Aid was until the new Trump administration talked about it and the news spread. Probably wouldn't have cared either, if Soros wasn't a beneficiary, with his malefic desire of controlling countries, including many in Europe.

Let me tell you a story.

My country was transitioned from communism and socialism to capitalism and democracy in a rather bloody way at the end of 1989.

We found out from a Soros interview offered a long time ago at a Romanian national TV station, that "he was on the first commercial airplane that landed in Bucharest" after the regime fell.

Seems like he already knew it was going to happen and cleared his schedule to beat others to the new conquest... And that he did. Either that, or he simply beats others to it by taking quicker, decisive, bold actions, when they still analyze the situation.

That maybe is something to admire about him. The way he uses this ability is despicable in most cases. He describes himself as a necessary evil in some cases. Like, destroying a country's currency for profit because it was going to fall anyway, and to beat others to it and to reveal its weaknesses. Funny! Maybe he should pick up the phone and call that country's PM and head of Central Bank instead and tell them they have a big issue, and if they don't solve it, he's coming... Sure, if he does that, then he might get screwed if he comes. So, maybe just the warning then... But he's not a nice guy, and never was...

That's a good one. Well done, AI!

Anyway, back to my country. Evidently, Soros didn't come to my country on the first plane available out of the goodness of his heart. He had big plans for ushis influence in a young democracy. And that only grew and grew, and his people became louder and shameless. Trying to mimic their master... but there is only one Soros. And a lot of paid or even indoctrinated pawns.

There was a time when I respected the Soros name, without knowing anything about him. And that is part of his strategy of nurturing and attracting (future) elites of a country he wanted to control. He definitely thought long term, I'll give him that.

Right before I went to high school (I already attended the same school for gymnasium), a shiny new fully-equipped IT lab was created. I think there were 6 or 8 new 486 PCs in the new lab, all thanks to the generous donation of... the Soros Foundation. That was in early 90s, so only a few years after the first arrival of the man himself in my country, and this was a small town we were talking about, but it's true, the best high school.

So yeah, for a long time, I thought Soros is a guy who wants to do good in the world or something like that. Damn, I must've been so naive back then!

I later learned that his first "targets" were universities. Probably moved on to high-schools next, to make sure next generations think he and his acolytes are the positive force in the world.

So yeah... How do you like the story? In fact, I may be negatively biased... What do you think... Is Soros a positive or a negative force in the world?

I think that Soros is a negative force in the world. They are giving something that looks good but would turn into poison in the future

That's how I see it. But likely not everyone considers the same. They just don't want to be in the spotlight now with the new anti-Soros wave started by Trump himself while he is still very powerful.

Coming out of my little bubble and reading more articles on hive is really opening my eyes to the world, I don’t have an opinion on Sorros but this has made me want to go and find out more, thanks for raising my awareness!

Well, you can only be pro or against him. This guy can't let you impassible, once you learn about him and his doings!

However it is. I there there can be food or bad opportunists in life. I think politicians are more of bad opportunists. They take advantage of a situation they can actually change and then make it go bad. They'll rather plunder than to change. The USAID is really revealing a lot we didn't know

Many bad things at a high enough level often can't happen without at least an influential politician being involved, closing their eyes, or at least knowing about them and deciding when to use the information (without doing anything to prevent to actual fact from happening, maybe even slightly facilitating it, to have leverage later).

Most of the time they instigate it indirectly and then they claim anonymity. It's classic politicians.

Yeah, sometimes they are in the middle of the rottenness.

People who are filthy rich are in that position because they are greedy and all their moves are calculated and focused on getting more rich... Humanitarian help, or creating a charity is also in the same pot... It's not for free, and only naive people think it is... They don't give a sh*t about you and me, or anyone else in some 3rd world country... They care about the resources and how to grow their wealth...

Giving breadcrumbs to people and taking their diamonds... Just one of the best examples...

Anyway, nice story and he (and his buddies) ruined a lot of countries all around the globe... If you realize there is a problem, you should try to help fix it, and not put the nail in the coffin and ruin so many lives...

Thanks for sharing... and sorry for this "fiery" comment... 😃

No problem about the "fiery" comment! 😀

It seems appropriate for the situation.

Good example with the diamond mines...

I remember another interesting comment of another big whale in the world who likes to play humanitarian after retirement from Microsoft: Bill Gates. He was once interviewed by someone in our country, and the interviewer, like many times, belittle himself and us, saying something like: "... coming to a small country like ours ...", to which Bill Gates immediately cut him off and said "It's not a small country.". He just had a better perspective, of course, to some degree coming from the wider perspective offered by the contracts Microsoft had with our central and local administrations for the OS, Office and whatever tools they could sell at the time, and probably to this day.

Oh, don't get me on the Bill Gates thing, please... I have a personal "thing" with him from my past... 😂

I used to work mostly with Microsoft products early on... From OS to programming stuff. I also learned more about him, as a person and his interests, later on. Some things I learned simply shocked me (and still do, to this day).

I think what’s so fascinating (and unsettling) about figures like Soros is how they operate on such a grand scale, blending philanthropy with what often feels like strategic maneuvering. It’s hard to tell where the "good intentions" end and the self-interest begins. And you’re right, his ability to act decisively and think long-term is something you can’t help but notice, even if you don’t agree with how he uses that power.

As for whether he’s a positive or negative force. I think it really depends on who you ask and what part of his legacy you’re looking at. For some, he’s a visionary who’s helped modernize and democratize societies. For others, he’s a manipulative force with too much influence. Your story definitely adds a lot of nuance to that debate. Either way, it’s clear his impact is huge, and it’s not going away anytime soon.

I don't think he ever had good intentions. Just means to an end. It's true, his means to an end helped along the way the societies where he got involved, but also brainwashed a number of people, which was his goal. In the end, it was a good investment for him. Philanthropy was a front end to being able to exert serious control over the societies and governments where he made his mark. And we are not talking about isolated cases, we are talking about numerous countries where he acted similarly.

As for his currency deeds, he became famous after crashing the British Pound, so not a small thing. He did the same with Indonesia's currency. Probably others too, but haven't researched into it.

Is he a strategist? Yes. Anyone who can play a long term game thinking ahead decades is an excellent strategist. But a global strategist rarely has your best interest in mind.

Easily answered (IMHO) ...

"Is Soros a positive or a negative force in the world?"

... as there is no question he is a malevolent force with few, if any, equals. And ... At 94 years of age and closer and closer to "going to his reward," will he then be permanently gone?

No!

His sons are already well entrenched and carrying on his ... "work."

On this last point, these people typically operate in the shadows ... By design ...

Note well, then, how his son decided to "authorize" the photo shoot with the Democratic nominee for VP, Tim Walz, in his New York offices last year, at a critical moment in the campaign. And the relative positioning of the two ...

Absolutely no accident. It was meant to send a message ... Thank God it was not successful ...

I didn't know of this. But I knew he also had his political games in the US. However, more of them surfaced in recent years than before, like he wasn't hiding it anymore. As you said, these people tend to play "in the shadows". He doesn't. Or not as much. He is definitely bold, that's sure.

Yep! They tend to be dynastic in their influence. Now, it depends if his son will be as influential as him once he is gone, even if he inherits his money and networks.

Definitely think a net negative he is for the world. For me, it's the Great Reset agenda that got me to learn about him, I think he's also the main person that promotes the "you will own nothing and you will be happy!" by the WEF.

Really? I didn't know he promotes that kind of ineptitude as well.

I tend to think that he is a negative force. He funded the bad District Attorneys in California and I think he is one of the reasons why things have gotten so bad where I live.

There you go. I heard he started to mess around with the US powers, as well. He finds judges and prosecutors quite useful...
