Hola amantes del cine y la televisión en hive, una vez más como es costumbre les compartiré mi opinión sobre series y películas que he visto recientemente, en este caso termine hace poco de ver serie bastante diferente a las que estoy acostumbrada a ver, sin embargo, fue una serie que me cautivo por su intensidad y fuerza en las actuaciones, la comedia y el drama que presentan en ésta peculiar familia de ricos quienes pelean por el trono del gran Logan Roy y su imperio dentro del mercado de las noticias, sin más que decir espero les guste y los invito a leerme! 🎬✨

Hello movie and TV lovers in hive, once again as usual I will share with you my opinion about series and movies I have seen recently, in this case I recently finished watching a series quite different from the ones I am used to see, however, it was a series that captivated me for its intensity and strength in the performances, comedy and drama presented in this peculiar family of rich people who fight for the throne of the great Logan Roy and his empire in the news market, without more to say I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! 🎬✨

Hablando un poco sobre el cast de la serie contamos con un reparto bastante fuerte y lleno de mucho talento como lo son los familiares principales de la poderosa empresa Waystar RoyCo, en el papel del empresario y temperamental principal y dueño de las acciones y la compañía Logan Roy quien lo interpreta el legendario Brian Cox, como su hijo mayor Connor Roy lo interpreta el actor Alan Ruck, como el complicado y serio Kendall Roy quien es interpretado por el actor Jeremy Strong, en el papel del divertido y un poco infantil Roman Roy lo interpreta el actor Kieran Culkin y como última parte de aquellos hermanos tan controversiales tenemos a la hija, Shiv Roy quien es interpretado por la actriz Sarah Snook. Igualmente a lo largo de las demás temporadas de la serie contamos con participaciones como las de Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, J. Smith Cameron, Justine Lupe, Alexander Skarsgård, Peter Friedman, Hiam Abbass, entre otros actores y actrices más. Algo en lo que podemos concordar es que cuentan con un extendido reparto pero con los mejores en su oficio.

Estos actores y actrices se unieron para representar y traer a la vida a esta familia ficticia de millonarios quienes con su inmensa empresa de los medios de comunicación constantemente se encuentran en problemas y desacuerdos no solo en la compañía y en los tratos que realizan para comprar más acciones sino entre la propia familia la cual está en constante lucha por saber quién será el sucesor el cual se encargará de dirigir aquel imperio.

These actors and actresses came together to represent and bring to life this fictional family of millionaires who with their huge media company are constantly in trouble and disagreements not only in the company and in the deals they make to buy more shares but among the family itself which is in constant struggle to know who will be the successor who will be in charge of running that empire.

Ésta serie de televisión estadounidense de género comedia dramática, humor negro y drama familiar que transmitida en a través de la plataforma de streaming HBO MAX cuenta con un total de 4 temporadas y la primera se estrenó el 03 de junio del 2018, cada temporada cuenta con 10 episodios, exceptuando la temporada 3 que tiene 9 episodios y estos varían desde 56 minutos a 66 minutos de duración.

La trama se inicia con la familia Roy, quienes son los propietarios del conglomerado mundial de medios y entretenimiento Waystar RoyCo, y su lucha por el control de la empresa en medio de la incertidumbre sobre la salud del patriarca de la familia el cual ha estado presentando problemas en su salud, seguiremos las historias de cada uno de los miembros de la familia y su relación entre ellos además de ver cómo es el manejo de aquella empresa de medios y como lidian con amenazas externas por sus competencias además de los problemas por la necesidad de adquirir más y más acciones de otras compañías y así ser más poderosos.

No es solo una serie que puede ser engañosa con su imagen de historia de oficina sino que va más allá de ello, trata sobre los problemas familiares de ésta complicada familia pero no solo eso sino de la soberbia y la avaricia por más ya que cada uno de los miembros están constantemente buscando su propio beneficio a pesar de que puedan parecer interesados en ayudar a otros, igualmente también tocan temas como la salud mental y las adicciones y cómo estás pueden ir deteriorando tu ser pero esto es más fuerte debido a la imagen que deben mantener ante los medios, asimismo veremos la constante lucha por los hermanos para ser partícipes de la toma de decisiones de la compañía para ayudar a su padre, quien aunque parece bastante capaz últimamente se ha mostrado algo débil con su salud y entre todos deben participar para ser tomados en cuenta a la hora de que el magnate Logan Roy decidía a su sucesor.

Es una serie que te mantiene constantemente sintiendo la presión de cada uno de los personajes y su problemas debido a que siempre ha algún problema ya sea con ellos o con la empresa todo siempre esta en constante movimiento y eso hace que la serie no se sienta pesada, la historia se va desarrollando y podemos ver como incluso el gran Logan Roy duda constantemente sobre la decisión de su sucesor debido a las acciones y las decisiones de sus hijos haciendo que aunque parezca un hombre serio con un temperamento horrible se vaya fragmentando al intentar tomar una decisión, Logan es un hombre increíblemente volátil y exigente lo que hace que sus hijos tengan ese rasgo muy presente en sus personalidades sin embargo como sus hijos están bajo la inmensa presión de la perfección haciendo que cada uno de ellos tengan sus propios conflictos internos como baja autoestima, inseguridad, la constante búsqueda de la aprobación de su padre y el intento, en ocasiones fallido, de mantener sus emociones bajo control. Succession es una serie que nos muestra una sátira sobre las familias ricas y sus actitudes en la sociedad y en su entorno, mostrando como incluso llegan a caer en problemas de salud mental y en adicciones debido a la alta presión de los medios lo cual hace que cada uno de los personajes se puedan llegar a sentir casi humanos y realistas y a veces nos hace dudar de si seguimos viendo una serie o un reality show.

Succession is a series that shows us a satire about rich families and their attitudes in society and their environment, showing how they even fall into mental health problems and addictions due to the high pressure of the media which makes each of the characters can get to feel almost human and realistic and sometimes makes us doubt whether we are still watching a series or a reality show.

No solo hay drama y tensión en esta serie sino mucha mucha comedia, hay una dosis igualada entre ambos y va desde comentarios crudos y fuertes hasta acercamientos de camara que están estratégicamente ubicados para hacernos reír, algunas de las relaciones entre los personajes también generan una gran cantidad de comedia como lo es la relación de Greg y de Tom, ambos siendo totalmente opuestos pero que de alguna forma logran tolerarse e incluso sabotearse entre ellos mismos y por supuesto también contamos con personajes divertidos como lo son Román Roy quien es un personaje bastante sarcástico la mayoría del tiempo pero que sus chistes mantienen la serie bastante entretenida y divertida. La serie tiene un guión escrito impecablemente lo que hace que los giros en la historia sean importantes y también hacen que se sientan reales, los magnates que mantienen las apariencias de ser fríos y duros con la competencia pero que su vida privada podrá afectar esas apariencias que mostraron a la sociedad, la codicia y el individualismo reina en ella ya que no importa que tanto dinero tengan eso no podrá reparar los problemas familiares que existan y solo existirá el constante pensamiento de ser el heredero.

There is not only drama and tension in this series but a lot of comedy, there is an equal dose of both and it goes from crude and strong comments to camera close-ups that are strategically placed to make us laugh, some of the relationships between the characters also generate a lot of comedy as is the relationship of Greg and Tom, both being total opposites but somehow they manage to tolerate and even sabotage each other and of course we also have funny characters such as Roman Roy who is a pretty sarcastic character most of the time but his jokes keep the series quite entertaining and funny. The series has an impeccably written script which makes the twists in the story are important and also make them feel real, the tycoons who keep the appearances of being cold and hard with the competition but that his private life may affect those appearances that showed to society, greed and individualism reigns in it because no matter how much money they have that can not repair the family problems that exist and there will only be the constant thought of being the heir.

Me encanta esta serie y ver cada capítulo es un viaje a una vida completamente diferente, a lo más personal de estas personas y sus problemas, todos y cada uno de los personajes son únicos a su manera y eso le brinda más fuerza a la trama de la serie, a pesar de que no siempre se entienda el 100% de lo que hablan cuando toman decisiones con respecto a la compañía podemos sentir el peso de estas decisiones y tenemos una idea clara y es que todos buscan el ganar así que lo harán sin importar cuantas compañías se lleven por delante. Es una serie trágica y conmovedora donde podemos adentrarnos en la vida de estos personajes y su vida aparentemente increíble, esa es la premisa de la serie que veas la vida de esa gente, la serie no te pide que los ames, solo que los veas cómo en realidad son la mayoría de gente multimillonaria pero al final del día terminarás amándolos por los momentos vividos en cada episodio. Sin duda, es totalmente merecedora de todos los premios y nominaciones que ha ido obteniendo hasta ahora ya que es una obra maestra.

I love this series and watching each chapter is a trip to a completely different life, to the most personal of these people and their problems, each and every one of the characters are unique in their own way and that gives more strength to the plot of the series, even though we do not always understand 100% of what they speak when they make decisions regarding the company we can feel the weight of these decisions and we have a clear idea and that is that everyone is looking to win so they will do it no matter how many companies they take ahead. It is a tragic and touching series where we can get into the lives of these characters and their seemingly incredible lives, that is the premise of the series that you see the lives of these people, the series does not ask you to love them, just to see them as they really are most billionaire people but at the end of the day you will end up loving them for the moments lived in each episode. Undoubtedly, it is totally deserving of all the awards and nominations it has been getting so far as it is a masterpiece.
