Hola mis amigos creativos en hive! Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, les traigo el proceso de este dibujo que termine hace poco el cual lo hice a base de carboncillo como una práctica para aprender a colocar las luces y las sombras al usar este material. Así que sin más que decir, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! ❤️✨

Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are doing well today, I bring you the process of this drawing that I finished recently which I did with charcoal as a practice to learn how to place the lights and shadows when using this material. So without more to say, I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! ❤️✨

Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), una barra de carboncillo suave y media y corrector líquido blanco.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), a stick of soft and medium charcoal and a liquid paper (correction pen).

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Para este retrato busque imágenes de referencia basadas en los personajes Kylo Ren y Anakin Skywalker de la franquicia de películas Star Wars, una vez con una imagen clara de lo que quería que su rostro expresará y al buscar imágenes de esos personajes busque principalmente imágenes que tuvieran bastantes sombras y algunas zonas iluminadas así como también que sus rostros expresaran angustia y rabia. Al terminar el boceto a lápiz comencé a rellenar las partes más oscuras del dibujo primero usando carboncillo y luego marcador negro para rellenar espacios muy grandes y lo fui difuminando con el dedo.

For this portrait I looked for reference images based on the characters Kylo Ren and Anakin Skywalker from the Star Wars movie franchise, once I had a clear image of what I wanted their faces to express and when looking for images of those characters I mainly looked for images that had a lot of shadows and some illuminated areas as well as their faces expressing anguish and rage. When I finished the pencil sketch I began to fill in the darker parts of the drawing first using charcoal and then black marker to fill in very large spaces and I blurred it with my finger.

Continúe ahora definiendo mejor los rasgos de su rostro como acentuar sus pupilas, sus labios y darle más forma al rostro y asimismo detalle el cabello haciendo que este se viera más abundante, con el dedo fui difuminando y con el borrador iba limpiando las partes iluminadas para evitar que se mancharan con el carboncillo. Seguí detallando su rostro y con el dedo use un poco de el excedente del carboncillo para darle un tono diferente en ciertas zonas a su piel, con marcador negro continue rellenando las sombras más grandes y poco a poco iba construyendo su rostro y su expresión.

I continued now defining better the features of his face like accentuating his pupils, his lips and give more shape to the face and also detail the hair making it look more abundant, with my finger I was blurring and with the eraser I was cleaning the illuminated parts to avoid staining them with the charcoal. I continued detailing his face and with my finger I used some of the excess charcoal to give a different tone in certain areas of his skin, with black marker I continued filling in the biggest shadows and little by little I was building his face and his expression.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, continúe dándole forma a su cabello y dibujando algunos cabellos sueltos a su alrededor y estos los iba difuminando con el dedo, con color negro acentúe sus ojos y detalle sus cejas y para finalizar agregué detalles de brillos en sus ojos, cuello, labios y en el cabello, también con el marcador negro y el carboncillo pinte lo que sería su túnica que cae en sus hombros. Aunque fue difícil el mantener las partes iluminadas limpias pude conseguir que éstas no se mancharan demasiado con el carboncillo y logré hacer que el marcador negro y las barras de carboncillo se mezclaran y no se viera divisiones entre ambos materiales, me encantó la expresión en su rostro y como este logra reflejar las emociones que tenía pensado desde un principio. ❤️✨

This is the result of the drawing, I continued giving shape to his hair and drawing some loose hair around him and blurring them with my finger, with black color I accentuated his eyes and detailed his eyebrows and to finish I added details of glitter in his eyes, neck, lips and hair, also with the black marker and the charcoal I painted what would be his tunic that falls on his shoulders. Although it was difficult to keep the illuminated parts clean I was able to get them not to stain too much with the charcoal and I managed to make the black marker and the charcoal sticks mix and not see divisions between both materials, I loved the expression on his face and how it manages to reflect the emotions I had in mind from the beginning. ❤️✨
