Hola mis amigos creativos en hive! Espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo el proceso de esta ilustración que realice recientemente, en este dibujo quise hacer un retrato de un personaje que me gustó muchísimo de la serie coreana Squid Games el cual es Thanos, este personaje bastante característico dentro de esta nueva temporada se podría decir que fue un personaje que sorprendió muchísimo a la audiencia no sólo por su actitud sino por el actor que lo interpreta, del cual conozco desde hace muchos años de estar en el mundo del kpop. Fue un personaje con el cual me encariñe muchísimo y que le agrego mucha diversión a la nueva temporada y es por ello que quise retratarlo. Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are very well, today I bring you the process of this illustration that I made recently, in this drawing I wanted to make a portrait of a character that I liked a lot of the Korean series Squid Games which is Thanos, this character quite characteristic in this new season I could say that it was a character that surprised the audience not only for his attitude but by the actor who plays him, which I have known for many years of being in the world of kpop. It was a character that I got very attached to and that added a lot of fun to the new season and that's why I wanted to portray him. Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina, un lápiz de grafito, un borrador moldeable, colores y marcadores de alcohol y un corrector líquido.

What I used to make the traditional drawing on a sheet of cardboard, a graphite pencil, a moldable eraser, colors and alcohol markers, and a liquid corrector.

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Como acostumbro en mis dibujos comencé realizando el boceto con lápiz para luego borrar las lineas para evitar manchar el color al pintarlo, use una imagen de referencia que me ayudó a conseguir que sus rasgos fueran más acertados y parecidos a los del personaje. Comencé trabajando el color de su cabello el cual hace que destaque entre los demás jugadores, con marcadores de alcohol fui mezclando los tonos violeta, azul oscuro y un poco de negro para las raíces, construyendo suavemente los cabellos sueltos en su característico peinado. Luego de hacer esto inicie trabajando el tono de su piel, para ello usé morado para crear las sombras, con el negro detalles sus cejas y delinee sus ojos. Para hacer el filtro de gato lo que hice fue pintar con marcadores de alcohol la forma de las orejas, los bigotes y la nariz la clave fue ir colocando los colores desde el más oscuro hasta el más claro y luego con corrector líquido blanco acentúe el centro de cada forma para que se notará lo del alrededor como una luz, parecido al estilo de las luces neón.

As I usually do in my drawings I started with a pencil sketch and then erased the lines to avoid staining the color when painting, I used a reference image that helped me to get his features more accurate and similar to those of the character. I started working on the color of his hair which makes him stand out among the other players, with alcohol markers I mixed violet, dark blue and a bit of black for the roots, gently building the loose hair in his characteristic hairstyle. After doing this I started working on his skin tone, for this I used purple to create the shadows, with black I detailed his eyebrows and lined his eyes. To make the cat filter what I did was to paint with alcohol markers the shape of the ears, the whiskers and the nose, the key was to place the colors from the darkest to the lightest and then with white liquid concealer accentuate the center of each shape so that the surrounding will be noticed as a light, similar to the style of neon lights.

Con marcador violeta pinte sus ojos y luego agregue marcador negro para resaltar lo oscuros que los tiene el personaje. Comencé a agregar tonos naranjas para la piel y así ir construyendo tanto las sombras como las partes más iluminadas de su piel al mismo tiempo. Para sus labios mezcle rojo y rosados y así fui agregando todos estos tonos en capas para poder darle más realismo y volumen a todas las zonas de su rostro. Comencé a pintar su chaqueta la cual realice con los marcadores de alcohol mezclando los tonos verde pasto y azul marino, dejando secar las capas para evitar romper el papel fue que fui construyendo el tono de su chaqueta. Asimismo comencé a pintar sus manos detallando los pliegues de sus dedos y sus tatuajes y anillos.

With purple marker I painted his eyes and then added black marker to highlight how dark the character's eyes are. I started adding orange tones for the skin to build up both the shadows and the lighter parts of his skin at the same time. For his lips I mixed red and pink and added all these tones in layers to give more realism and volume to all the areas of his face. I started to paint his jacket which I did with alcohol markers mixing grass green and navy blue tones, letting the layers dry to avoid tearing the paper was that I was building the tone of his jacket. I also began to paint his hands detailing the folds of his fingers and his tattoos and rings.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, realice varios detalles en la chaqueta tanto con marcadores de alcohol como con colores los cuales fueron para resaltar los pliegues, sombras y otros detalles de su chaqueta. Asimismo agregue otros detalles a la piel para resaltarla más y para finalizar hice algunos dibujos en el fondo que complementaron la estética del personaje y todo lo que le representa como lo son los corazones de caramelo que sería una representación de sus pastillas y a los cuales les agregue mensajes relacionados con el, también agregue una versión Chibi de el la cual esta del lado derecho y con la cual quise hacer que el dibujo tomara un estilo más lindo y divertido representándolo a él a la perfección. Me encanto el resultado de este dibujo y fue muy divertido hacerlo, este personaje realmente me encantó a pesar de su pasado y su historia ya que siento que agregó un poco menos de tensión a las situaciones y hacían que la serie se tornará un poco más divertida al estilo macabro.

This is the result of the drawing, I made several details in the jacket both with alcohol markers and with colors which were to highlight the folds, shadows and other details of his jacket. I also added other details to the skin to highlight it more and finally I made some drawings in the background that complemented the aesthetics of the character and everything that represents him such as the candy hearts which would be a representation of his pills and to which I added messages related to him, I also added a Chibi version of him which is on the right side and with which I wanted to make the drawing take a more cute and fun style representing him perfectly. I loved the result of this drawing and it was a lot of fun to do, I really loved this character despite his past and his history as I feel it added a little less tension to the situations and made the series a little more fun in the macabre style.
