Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, les traigo el proceso de este dibujo que termine hace poco en el cual quise emplear el carboncillo para poder agarrar mejor la técnica y aprender a usarlos ya que no soy de dibujar con ellos entonces quise hacer un retrato y usar varios elementos para detallar el dibujo. I hope you are doing well today, I bring you the process of this drawing that I finished recently in which I wanted to use charcoal to better grasp the technique and learn to use them since I'm not used to draw with them so I wanted to make a portrait and use various elements to detail the drawing. - Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), una barra de carboncillo suave y corrector líquido blanco.
- What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), a stick of soft charcoal and a liquid paper (correction pen).
Comencé haciendo el boceto de su rostro con lápiz y haciendo los trazos lo más suave posible para evitar marcar demasiado la hoja, al tener el boceto listo comencé a marcar las zonas más oscuras de su cabello haciendo presión fuerte con el carboncillo y luego con un poco de carboncillo en polvo fui oscureciendo su rostro y lo fui esparciendo con un pincel para que quedara el tono completamente uniforme.
I started making the sketch of her face with pencil and making the strokes as soft as possible to avoid marking too much the sheet, when I had the sketch ready I began to mark the darkest areas of her hair making strong pressure with the charcoal and then with a little powdered charcoal I was darkening her face and I was spreading it with a brush so that the tone was completely uniform.
Con una de las esquinas de la barra de carboncillo fui haciendo detalles más precisos como delinear sus ojos, oscurecer sus irises, detallar sus cejas y pestañas, la nariz y hice algunas líneas de separación en su cabello y todo lo fui difuminando con un pincel y con el dedo. Con la parte más lisa de la barra de carboncillo fui oscureciendo su cabello y difuminando las líneas que hacía así podía ir haciendo por capas los detalles y el tono de su cabello e igualmente usé la barra para oscurecer más su mano.
With one of the corners of the charcoal stick I made more precise details such as outlining her eyes, darkening her irises, detailing her eyebrows and eyelashes, her nose and I made some separation lines in her hair and I blurred everything with a brush and my finger. With the smoothest part of the charcoal stick I was darkening her hair and blurring the lines I made so I could layer the details and the tone of her hair and I also used the stick to darken her hand more.
Pinte con el mismo carboncillo su ropa y con un borrador fui borrando en ciertas zonas del rostro para hacer las partes más iluminadas, agregue más detalles ahora usando un lápiz de grafito y con el mismo borrado fui haciendo luces en su cabello para hacer los mechones más definidos y con más volumen.
I painted with the same charcoal her clothes and with an eraser I erased in certain areas of the face to make the parts more illuminated, I added more details now using a graphite pencil and with the same eraser I made highlights in her hair to make the locks more defined and with more volume.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé de agregar más luces borrando en zonas específicas de su rostro y cabello y por último realice algunos detalles con lápiz haciendo líneas para agregar más volumen, detalle sus pestañas y sus pupilas, los pelitos de sus cejas y en sus labios y para finalizar usé el corrector líquido blanco para hacer brillos en específicos como e sus pupilas, labios, nariz y mejillas. Me encantó el resultado a pesar de que no soy muy fan de usar carboncillo pero aún así amo ver ilustraciones hechas con ese material ya que quedan con detalles muy definidos y con un estilo diferente, único y llamativo. ❤️✨
This is the result of the drawing, I finished adding more lights erasing in specific areas of her face and hair and finally I made some details with pencil making lines to add more volume, detail her eyelashes and pupils, the hairs of her eyebrows and her lips and finally I used the white liquid concealer to make shines in specific areas such as her pupils, lips, nose and cheeks. I loved the result even though I'm not a big fan of using charcoal but I still love to see illustrations made with this material because they have very defined details and a different, unique and eye-catching style. ❤️✨
