Que mejor que comenzar el día con el olor a café recién hecho y una rica taza ☕️… esta cafetera me la regaló mi mamá por un “mientras tanto” cuando recién me mudé, estaba muy viejita pero por supuesto que cumplía muy bien su función, unas piezas improvisadas pero funcionales. He pasado por etapas; de hacer café en la cocina y en la cafetera. En la cocina siento que el sabor se percibe mucho más ya que coloco a hervir el agua con el café, a diferencia de la cafetera.

Pero para ahorrar gas decidí volver a realizar mi café en la cafetera, ya le agarré el gusto y también las cantidades así que me queda muy bien. Pero el
Color amarillento y las grandes mánchas es algo que no es de mi agrado. Así que tenía días pensando en pasar una lija en todas esas manchas para ver si desaparecían.

I have gone through stages; from making coffee in the kitchen and in the coffee maker. In the kitchen I feel that the flavor is perceived much more since I put the water to boil with the coffee, unlike the coffee maker.
But to save gas I decided to make my coffee again in the coffee maker, I already got the taste and also the quantities so it suits me very well. But the
Yellowish color and large spots is something that is not to my liking. So I had days thinking about sanding all those stains to see if they disappeared.

Luego de intentar un poco no funcionó la lija, supongo que es por ser muy fina. Así que me fui por la segunda opción; la lavé muy bien con cloro y coloque a remojar las piezas desarmables. Luego de unos minutos comencé a limpiar con el brillo hasta que mi brazo lo permitió 😂 la verdad me cansé intentando quitar las manchas, terminé tan sudada como si hubiese corrido un maratón jajaja.

After trying a little, the sandpaper didn't work, I guess it's because it's very fine. So I went for the second option; I washed it very well with bleach and placed the disassembled parts to soak. After a few minutes I started cleaning with the shine until my arm allowed it 😂 the truth is I got tired trying to remove the stains, I ended up as sweaty as if I had run a marathon hahaha.

Al pasar el tiempo si salía la mancha, que me imagino que es el líquido que le agregan para que se vean brillosos los electrodomésticos, no se como se llama o si realmente es un líquido. Pero lo que desprendía tenía un aspecto arenoso.

Ya sé que esta limpieza no impedirá que vuelva a mancharse ya que el tiempo y el mismo café que salpica al colarse mancha mucho pero si tuvo un cambio muy grande con esta limpieza profunda.

Realmente en casa siempre hay algo que hacer a pesar de que mantengamos todo limpio, siempre hay algo que acomodar o simplemente mejorar así que manos a la obra.

Deje que se secara muy bien para poder encender y como última parte de la limpieza hice una dilución de vinagre y la encendí para que terminara de limpiar todo su sistema interno. Y así queda lista para seguir utilizando por mucho tiempo más, sin manchas amarillas y cumpliendo su función.
