Burnout Paradise also has motorcycles, will they be fun or crap? - EN/ES

I love motorcycles, but riding them im terrible

Hello people! Weeks ago I brought you Burnout Paradise, an epic game of street racing and a lot of madness through the streets of New York City. I've played quite a bit since then and today I want to try for the first time a feature that is also available in this game. The truth is that I am 100% satisfied with this game, I have not been bored at all, and although the races are almost always the same, there are too many and the city is huge, so it is impossible to always remember the same routes or things like that. I've been playing this game for many hours, and it's still hard for me to reach different areas of the map haha, I always have to check the route XD. Anyway, let's see one of the main reasons why I downloaded Burnout Paradise.

When I was looking for a driving game weeks ago, I also wanted to include motorcycles, and the only one that caught my attention was Burnout Paradise, in the previous post I forgot to mention that there were also motorcycles, so today I'm going to try them for the first time, I swear that I had never done it because when trying to choose them they warned me and said: "If you are a new player we recommend you play with vehicles until you feel ready to drive motorcycles". I listened and after having a bit more experience now I want to test the bikes. And yes, that is one of the main reasons for downloading this game, I wanted to drive motorcycles since it is not very common to mix both things.

BurnoutParadise 2023-07-06 16-24-26-94.jpg

In the beginning, they gave me a choice of two bikes, one that was fast and had some resistance (resistance is important since almost all of the races are crashes, and dying all the time is not cool) and another that was twice as fast but the resistance was low. I decided on the more normal bike without so much speed since it was my first time and I still don't control being at high speeds very well in cars, much less on an XD motorcycle. I did my first race called "Red Hot" This is a series of street circuits that are all over the map, normally they are against the clock and I was able to overcome it. The time limit was 1:52 seconds and I got there in 1:51 seconds. By the hair!

BurnoutParadise 2023-07-06 16-27-50-64.jpg

My first feeling with this race is something difficult to explain, I don't get used to the motorcycle because the speed is high (I don't know how much, remember that there is no speed meter here) and besides, crossing with the motorcycle is totally different from a car, Also, we can't skid. That means that the crossings must be 100% clean and at low speeds.
I completed my second "Red Hot" race, this one was a bit easier but I crashed and destroyed my bike in one hahaha, I felt like I was going 800 km and I forgot I had to cross and I crashed into a public transport bus XD. Let's see, many things to say, I think that motorcycles are not something as relevant as cars in this game, if you read the previous post you will know that the missions are at every traffic light in the city, here I see many desolate traffic lights, there are only races in some, that means we have fewer races, also, I have come across many "Midnight Races", which are only running from 18:00 to 00:00. The time is coming so let's try one of those and see how it goes, I guess they are crazy.

BurnoutParadise 2023-07-06 16-31-01-07.jpg

I just completed that midnight mission, and it wasn't really what I expected. Let's see, with that name I expect a race with 7 more members and me, but no, we have the same time trial but at night XD. Let's see, maybe later they will but apparently, we are only the city and our motorcycle. That makes it a bit boring and monotonous, doing time trials I'm not saying it's wrong, but just doing that is boring. Also, I haven't unlocked more bikes, I don't know if there are more, but I think and it's obvious that the main thing here is the cars, the bikes are a filler to give the game a little more life, and I guess when the servers were active It was very played by everyone, right now it's just to hang out and that's it. We also have licenses, which appears each race is equivalent to 2.5%, I have completed 3, therefore, I have 7.5%, taking some very simple accounts by completing 40 races we would already have 100% of the motorcycle license, mmm, I really don't know what will continue after that.

Something that I find very cool is that when we changed from cars to motorcycles, the music in general also changed, before it was quite aggressive rock that motivated you to drive, now we change to a kind of very good pop-rock. It seems to me a hoot to have added that, any other game would have added the same music for everything because they don't work like that here haha. Also to mention that the motorcycles have very good details, the sound is INCREDIBLE, I'm not exaggerating. The same goes for the design and the physics, they are very good, every time we pass a speed we can notice how the driver moves his hands and legs, oh, and we can also drive as a woman, I think it's great.

BurnoutParadise 2023-07-06 16-38-18-95.jpg

I will now move on to the cars. By the way, there is a detail that I don't like very much about the game, but it seems brutal to me. The map is fucking crazy, and we can't put indicators to trace the route and thus get there faster, nope, here the idea is to learn the map, the same narrator of the game recommends that, even if we have the fastest car in the world game, it won't help if we face players who know the map perfectly and know what the fastest routes are. I have lost several missions thanks to it, I get confused and then when I try to return everyone leaves me behind hahaha. I think this is cool, but I hate it too.

I won this race, it's another thing entirely since playing against other people, even if they are AI, you feel the difference a lot. I want to go far in this game, will I be able to?

Thank you for reading.

Amo las motos, pero manejarlas es terrible

¡Hola gente!

I'll have to admit that as cool as bikes can be in some games and media, if I were to play Burnout Paradise then I'd just stick to the classic cars by virtue of expecting the same gameplay as the previous games. I know I probably shoot myself in the foot if I play Mario Kart Wii for picking the karts over the bikes, but you know, muscle memory and all that :p

Still gotta get through Burnout 2 someday, or maybe even try this one.

I don't think I ever used the bikes when playing this game back on the PS3. Just didn't feel that good to race. Very artificial.

yes, totally, they didn't do something natural at all, however, not bad for a nice "little while".
