Fungi Friday:They are smiling in the bushes
Hello all mushroom hunters
I am happy to be back sharing some mushroom species that I found on different days. These three mushroom species caught my attention to take a closer look at them. On another day, we can also feel the joy of seeing some enticing mushroom species appearing behind the bushes. With this discovery, of course, there are various advantages and disadvantages of each of the mushroom species I found.
One type of mushroom species shaped like a cup found in a restaurant or clup, lactarius (milk-caps) is one type of mushroom that is very difficult to find during the dry season. Besides having a beautiful cup, this mushroom also has a quite tall stem. However, during the dry season, this mushroom species has a weakness: when exposed to sunlight, they wilt faster and the stem will bend downwards. Fortunately, I found this mushroom species during the rainy season some time ago.
On a different day, of course I found another species of mushroom, Cryptotrama asprata, one of the mushroom species that has an orange cap. Most of these mushrooms grow in the cracks of bushes overlapped with decayed branches. They are very small, which made it a bit challenging for me to capture the perfect focus. After trying several times and always failing to get a good picture, I had to calm down a bit to capture it.
Marasmius is classified as one of the mushroom species that has a fairly long stem, and in addition, this species of Marasmius also has quite beautiful gills when its cap has started to spread its wings. On one piece of decayed wood, I found a cluster of these Marasmius mushrooms growing closely together, with their caps already blooming so I could see the advantages of this mushroom species. Do you know that these gills amaze and fascinate me.
this is my contribution today for the #fungifriday community created and organized by @ewkaw.
