I Have Always Had A Great Tendency Of A Minimalist
Being a minimalist is something some don't realize they are until they start paying attention to their kind of lifestyle or come to read about minimalist ideas. I can say that I happen to be that type of person. Someone who has always loved to live her life in its simplest form.
My minimalist lifestyle started a long time ago. As far back as I could remember my very existence.
I remember graduating from college and on getting home my sister was asking why my bag was so small. Where are all my clothes and other forms of belongings? And I told her that was all my clothes and belongings. She gave me a kind of look that even after many years is still fresh in my memory.
I know in her mind what she might have been thinking, why can't I keep more clothes or larger bags? Though on that day she did not bother to say it out as she might have felt like repeating herself was becoming like a broken record.
I have always lived simply and classic. And those are the things that make my life so easy and happy.
I never have to buy more clothes than necessary or just to fill my closet's sake, almost all of my clothes are a necessity even when I could afford more and this has been my way of life for as long as my memory could serve me.
I learned to declutter my room from a very young age, as that extra space gives me a heavenly kind of feeling. The same thing applied to my clothing bags and general belongings. As soon as I started feeling like they were choking me. And once I'm done I do feel a kind of great relief and inner peace.
Right from when I was a little girl, my circle of friends has always been at its barest minimum as I love to keep relationships real and deep instead of having plenty of acquaintances.
My phone storage had never been left out, as I do inspect it from time to time so I could do away with applications that I'm not been used frequently. Or use the freeze option on my phone to keep them in inactive mode but I could unfreeze them for use whenever the need arises. The result always enhances my phone's overall performance, speed, and efficiency.
I may not have known the meaning of being a minimalist for more than half of my existence but I have always lived as one. Only a few years ago I came across the word Minimalist and thanks to this very community who always strive to broaden and widen my knowledge of this lifestyle.
This is who I have always been even before I realized it. I have this dream which was inspired by the lifestyle of the likes of Mark Zuckerberg. "That, one day, no matter who I become, I could keep to a habit of wearing one single kind of brand of clothes, plain white design. Only that I haven't just found the right brand yet. Like I said, I love it, simple and classic.'
This is my response to the #kiss blogging ideas week#66 in the minimalist community. The image I used belongs to me.

that's lovely, that you found this lifestyle at such a young age <3 means you had more space in your life for what really matters, and more power to you for it!
Yeah, having a kind of space for things that truly matters to us is a great reward of this lifestyle.
Thank you a lot for visiting. !luv

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoWow... I enjoyed this piece and I am sharing it on thread right away. Do you know something you just said here, I am kind of that person too. I never knew I am a minimalist until I read about it sometimes ago and those tips were what aligned with me. I just kept on smiling and agreeing to everything said because that is my lifestyle. I hate much things around me. I love to declutter and keep things to its bare minimum. I keep my lifestyle simple and not someone that would want a large space to live a comfortable life. I am very okay with the little around me and that is what I love.
I'm glad you can resonate with this and thank you very much for sharing it on #thread. I'm sure a lot of others weren't aware of their minimalistic nature just like I was before I started exploring the ideas a while back.
You should hang around this community more, you will love it.
Yes, I remember writing a prompt in this community sometimes back. This community is a good one, I must say. I will try my best to visit here too. Thank you.

Nice post.
I'm glad you can relate, lots of us are like that without even knowing it I think.
Thank you for visiting ❤🥰
My dear. I always delete and delete. Just the other day, I gave out some clothes because, what am I doing with so many of them when I barely use them? If you leave me, I will be walking the road in Wrapper and slippers. I really hate having to put on too many clothes especially when work demands corporate.
!lol @ rapper and slippers,
And yeah cooperate wares can be a burden most times. Left for me, I prefer my simple jeans 👖 with a top.

I'm alone smiling uncontrollably because this piece of writing describe my whole person. I hate having too much, i easily feel I'm becoming selfish when I see myself accumulate too much. On the sizes of thing, I hate it things it when things are obviously big. My course mate has a way of knowing what belongs to me, 'when it look small or portable'
I'm glad you could relate with this, I think a lot of us have a minimalist tendency than we realize.
