A Little Sparks Every Now And Then

Hello dear friends, welcome back to my corner, while I take you on a ride about the things that ignite my sparks, how do I keep going when I feel like not lifting a finger?

Inspiration plays a very vital role in our lives, for us to attain a higher level of success. It is that little spark that gives us a burning desire to do something better or greater.

For every great person there is, they all have one or more sources of inspiration. Some are inspired by the great work of others, such as music, Books, art, movies, and many more.

The good thing is that inspiration is all around us, and for each one of us, what inspires us at one point in time may vary.

For someone like me, it is simply a desire to have a better life, for the sake of myself, for my family, and for anyone who might need my help along the line. Simply put, I want to leave a great mark at the end of the day.

There are times I feel like I could move a mountain and other times I might feel like not lifting a finger, do I lay back and give in to the lack of inspiration? No, I must always try to find my little sparks to ignite my fire and these are where it comes from.

I found inspiration from the people in my life, which is why I'm very intentional about those I surround myself with, as they go a long way in how far I can go in life, their actions and inactions affect me whether I realize it or not.

These days I guide my space tightly since not everyone should take a seat at the table of my life. Not everyone is right for me and that is okay.

For that, I have my husband and his desire to always attain higher goals and be successful. When I think of him, he inspires me to get up and keep going. And when I slacked behind, he would give me this look of, don't slack behind baby girl, and that helped me adjust and put my mind in the right place.

My son, when he calls me Mama, and yeah, he calls me that countless times in a day. I have to keep my fire burning because I want to be a mother he will always be proud of, I want to give him the best of me, I want him to have a better life than what I got and if I lay down, that may never be possible.

And for my parents for always supporting and rooting for me, they are my next source of inspiration after God. Yes, God is my number one, when I can't find a way forward, he has always been my guide.

Five to ten minutes in communication with God in the morning might be all I need to get going sometimes.

A Lot of friends both here on hive and offline inspire me. There are times when I just go around reading their work and most times drop comments for them, And in doing so, I find new perspectives on life and one or more reasons to get up and get things done.

And other times, music inspires me a lot, good lyrics that resonate with me, interesting singers, and great sound make my heart move and my energy recharge to keep going in the right direction.

Great inspiring movies are not left out either, I'm always looking out for movies with storylines that would make me want to pause, think, and see things in a new direction.

And last but not least, Nature

Nature helps clear my mind, and see things for what they are and in a new gleam. It makes my creative mind flow and run wide. And how lucky we are that nature is all around us.

I believe that to get the best out of life, we must always find the little sparks that can keep our fire burning. Find those things that ignite our creativity and make us want to put in our best in most of the things we do if not all. Because we all need a little spark now and then.
