This time I want to show you some photos of mushrooms (Stereum lobatum) that have interesting fruiting bodies that are generally found on rotting wood in tropical areas. These mushrooms are very common on fallen tree branches but can also be found on trees where some of the wood has died.

The attached disc part is often yellow and when it enters adulthood it looks a bit brownish or whitish. They also have a fairly thin fruiting body but are not easily broken and the most interesting thing about the fruiting body is the very unique shape of the part that grows.
