Timeless streets of France in black and white

This year we went on holiday to France. A lot of cities and towns in France really breathe history with the old buildings and narrow streets.
I went through my archive and selected a couple of the photos I took to convert into black and white. I really think this adds something to the photo despite removing the colors. What do you think?

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes

I love the photos, not only because they are timeless and demonstrate a certain mix of nostalgia with the result of the passage of time with the appearance of the walls and marble streets. I also love the black and white photography style.

The photos are excellent, to be honest. I'm no expert, but I'm saying this as a huge fan.

Excellent post.

I also like the fact that these streets still look they way they did decades ago. Making them black and white soet of takes you back in time I think.

Thanks for engaging!

Beautiful! Something tells me they will be stunning in color as well.

Thanks! These streets are mostly grey already, so B&W makes ot a stronger photo I think.
