I believe @topcomment and @commentrewarder both work well to achieve this goal.

I try to curate comments myself and I've noticed, anicdotaly, it helps improve engagement.

To Mr Tat's point though, AI Agents are already here. So longterm I think curating the "best comments" won't be enough.

But the beautiful thing about Hive, is we can all try different things and see what "sticks." Annnnnnd if the environment changes, we can adjust to something else and see what "sticks" in the new world we find ourselves in.

Good points. For a community there are quite a lot of blogs that don't get a lot of interaction.
Commentrewarder you mention is a good example of this PoVS change you mention and with the @topcomment curation service we also try to motivate more hivers to engage more.

Yes, I think we are moving more and more towards this PoSV paradigm. It is not just commmentrewarder and topcomment but things like KE and POSH also contributing to this shift.

We also now have all these snap, waves short content stuff.

For a while, I was setting commentrewarder in my posts, but even so, interaction was scarce. I will try to take it up again in order to recapture the essence of that project 👍
