Kill them with Kindness

Good morning hivers! I hope you are in good condition. You can expect not with the people around you that yiu have the same thinking. Everyone is unique indeed! :)

Today, I would like to share my experience weeks ago. As I am going to Bukidnon, I have so many dirty clothes in my luggage and it was weighed in before you check in, it was found out that I was overload with the given 7kgs. I brought many clothes because of work related concerns. I pulled it out in my luggage and fornutaely I was able to check in and passed the boarding gate area with my dirty clothes.

It was really a learning experience for me. I had so many insights learned frim that experience. In order not to bring my dirty clothes in Bukidnon, I communicated with the staff of bread shop inbthe airport. I requested him to let my dirty clothes stayed with his area. I know it's not possible but I insist. I told him my story thatvI came from Provincial Meet and then I will go to Bukidnon that day. I will just get my stuff when I come back in Cebu on February 18, 2025. He hesitated and later he granted my request. I was happy back then.

The day has come to get my stuff and I realized that it was nit really possible to go inside without a ticket. I negotiated with the guards and on duty but they did not allow me to pass! Great job for them for uplifting security measures in the airport. So, they advised me to go to their store and asked him for help. They guided me the way going to their store. I was grateful then! :) Everything is possible with proper communication.

As I went to their store, it's a blessing that the person I left my stuff was there. He told me that he was not sure if it was still there for there are clearing operations something. He called his co worker there and yes there it is. He got my stuff and I received it then.

As my gratefulness, I bought some food from their store and gave it to the person who got my stuff.

I went back to my friends and checked my stuffs. I found out that my brown pants was missing. I bought it from Bohol. I was so sad. I am expecting that what I left is the same set of clothes I will received. It was only my imagination but the reality hits different. I won't argue because it was me who insisted in the first place. I just realized that some peoples' heart are really different from ours.

Material things can easily be replaced but the trust of someone cannot be easily gained once it is broken. I won't pinpoint because I do not have all the evidences needed who got it. It's a call for me to become more cautios next time.Be good and move on. Just do better planning next time.
