Hello community. This week marks the sixth anniversary of Splinterlands, based on the Social Media Challenge. This week I will tell you about my short experience in the game. I have been exploring it for just a few months and currently participating in it.

I discovered Splinterlands thanks to the #nftgamela community on Discord. They share some posts, discuss how to improve, strategies, and guides. Currently, they have a chat on Saturdays where they talk about updates and tips on how to improve. Among the posts, I found videos about the rules, a post on how to get started (buying the spellbook and renting cards).

For a while, I was hesitant to participate, as I consider myself a bad player at card games. But thanks to what the community shared, I gradually integrated myself. I started by participating only with the trial cards provided by the game because I wanted to make sure I liked it before buying the spellbook. I lost many battles, but the ones I won encouraged me to buy the spellbook and rent my first cards.

I rented my first cards with 100 Dec that I won on the #nftgamela Discord, in addition to following the suggestion of a community post where they talked about cards and recommended water element cards for new players.

In my rookie mistakes of renting cards, I made a mistake with the level of one card. I didn't check the level properly, rented higher-level monsters without considering the summoner. It seemed cheap to me, so I selected it.

Currently, I try to be as active as possible to improve in battles. I try to use up all my energy each day and participate in some tournaments. The moments of losing streaks come and go, but I keep moving forward.

In the following image, you can see what I consider an achievement for me, reaching this league and currently earning that amount of Glint excites me. I don't consider myself a good player; it's possibly just luck. Although my time in it may be short, I'm glad to have joined this game and this community.

In the rewards and packs that I have acquired, I have managed to get the following cards. I will continue to gradually acquire cards; it is one of my goals.

Other things that I still need to do are joining a clan and acquiring lands. First, I aim to become a better player, and then I will join a clan. As for the lands, I aspire to acquire one in the future.

To newcomers, I advise the following:

• Inform yourselves a bit before starting, watch the battles shared each week. Have your first battles with the trial cards; you will gain experience and know if you like the game.

• When renting, consider the level of summoners and monsters. There are many posts on Hive that teach you how to choose your first cards. As I learned, level 1 and having around 3 elements relatively complete for battles.

• Something else to consider is SPS. You can buy it or rent it, but it is very important to get good rewards in each victory. The amount you need will depend on your league.

Actualmente intento ser lo más activo posible, para mejorar en las batallas. Intento gastar toda la energía que tenga cada día y participar en algunos torneos. Los momentos en que llega una racha de derrotas van y vienen, pero sigo adelante.

En la siguiente imagen podrán ver lo que considero un logro para mí, llegar a esta liga y actualmente llevar esa cantidad de Glint ganado, me entusiasma. No me considero buen jugador, posiblemente es pura suerte, aunque dure poco en ella, me alegra haber ingresado a este juego y a esta comunidad.

En las recompensas y packs que adquirido, he logrado hacerme con las siguientes cartas. Voy a seguir adquiriendo poco a poco cartas, es uno de mis objetivos.

Otras cosas que me quedan pendientes son unirme a un clan y las tierras. Aunque primero es buscar ser un mejor jugador, después me uno a un clan. Sobre las tierras, en un futuro aspire a conseguir una.

A los nuevos les aconsejo lo siguiente:

• Infórmense un poco antes de iniciar, vean las batallas que se comparten cada semana. Tengan sus primeras batallas con las cartas de prueba, ganarán experiencia y sabrán si les gusta el juego.

• Al alquilar tengan en cuenta el nivel de los invocadores y monstruos, existen muchas publicaciones en hive donde les enseñan a como elegir sus primeras cartas. Aunque como yo aprendí, nivel 1 y tener 3 elementos más o menos completos para las batallas.

• Algo que también se debe tener en cuenta, es el SPS. Puedes comprarlo o rentarlo, pero es muy importante para obtener buenas recompensas en cada victoria. Dependiendo de tu liga es la cantidad que necesitaras.
