Estas fotografías las realicé en una vereda del eje cafetero.

Me encontraba recorriendo una carretera destapada de una vereda en el eje cafetero.

Los dueños de las fincas tienen la costumbre de sembrar la especie Swinglea glutinosa. Esta planta, al crecer, forma una barrera vegetal o cerca viva, que ayuda a proteger cultivos o propiedades. Es una planta con un follaje denso con espinas.

No soy muy fan de esta planta, debido a que cuando la cortan, dejan espinas regadas por el camino. Estas espinas pueden atravesar la suela de los zapatos o botas y, en el caso de las motos o bicicletas, es casi seguro que se pinche la llanta. Aunque esto depende de cómo tan grande es la planta y las espinas que posee.

Dejando de lado porque no soy fan, les cuento que el ambiente que genera en los días de calor es muy agradable. Al estar a los dos lados de la carretera, cubre en gran medida los rayos del sol y genera un ambiente fresco. Cuando llueve, puedes encontrarte dónde cubrirte.

Cerca de donde vivo hay una parte de la carretera que está totalmente cubierta por lo grande que están las plantas, es tanto que parece un gran túnel. Pasar por allí es una experiencia. Si recorres la vía muy temprano, sientes un frío intenso y lleno de humedad. Intentaré sacar algo de tiempo para ir allí y traerles algunas fotos.

I took these pictures on a sidewalk of the coffee axis.

I was walking along an uncovered road of a sidewalk in the coffee axis.

The owners of the farms have the habit of sowing the species Swinglea glutinosa. This plant, when growing, forms a plant barrier or living fence, which helps to protect crops or properties. It is a plant with dense foliage with thorns.

I am not a big fan of this plant, because when they cut it, they leave watered thorns along the way. These thorns can go through the sole of shoes or boots and, in the case of motorcycles or bicycles, it is almost certain that the tire will be punctured. Although this depends on how big the plant is and the thorns it has.

Leaving aside because I'm not a fan, I tell you that the atmosphere it generates on hot days is very pleasant. Being on both sides of the road, it largely covers the sun's rays and generates a cool atmosphere. When it rains, you can find yourself where to cover up.

Near where I live there is a part of the road that is totally covered by how big the plants are, it's so much that it looks like a big tunnel. Going through there is an experience. If you walk the track very early, you feel an intense cold and full of humidity. I will try to make some time to go there and bring you some pictures.
