Hello, my comrades in battle and adventure in Pretoria.
In the last post of the year, I want to tell you how I did this season in the rankings, tournaments, and my most recent purchases.
Results
During this season, I have continued my routine of playing battles in both the Frontier and Modern formats; both contribute to my growth as a player. By dividing my time between both formats, I am accumulating a variety of units and I know that, over time, I will reach an acceptable level for higher leagues.
I'm still in the same league in the Frontier format; it's a level I'm used to, and when I have a bad streak, I recover a few days later. On the other hand, in the Modern format, my limit for now is the Silver III league; I know I can go a little higher, but I'm taking it easy while I level up some summoners (archons) and units.
Something I am excited to tell you about is my tournament results. I participated in a total of 8 tournaments where I finished in good positions. The total cost to participate in these tournaments was $265 DEC; thanks to my good results in each of them, I ended up winning a total of $163 SPS and $150 DEC.
My best result was in the Scarred Hand Novice Cup, where I managed to reach the top 3; it is the first time I have reached such a high position, I am very happy with this result and what I won will help me improve my battle deck.
Shopping
At the end of a season, I like to update my deck by acquiring some units through CA packs or chests; this time, I also purchase a unit that I want to level up.
I use the Glint earned during the season to make two purchases of ten minor chests, trying my luck, and the purchase of four rare draws.
Some of the copies I obtained today allowed me to level up the following units.
Moving on to the CA core set, I only bought a starter pack, as I had decided to allocate part of my resources to buying some on the market.
I hoped to get lucky and find a copy of a summoner (archon) that would make my choice easier when buying on the market, but that wasn't the case.
I bought the earth element summoner; I wanted to have the units of this element leading at a higher level. I know it will be very helpful in battles.
This Elf is one of my favorite units from the CA set, and I've been wanting to level her up for a long time.
Since I had previously focused only on acquiring common and rare units, it was time to move on to the next rarity. I decided to select this Fire Elf because she is a unit I use often and she is inexpensive.
These were my purchases for this occasion; I will continue to buy some copies of summoners to level up the ones I have at level 1, as well as acquiring other epics.
Final thoughts
This season was fun, it taught me a few things, and writing this post helped me see how I'm improving. When I started building my deck based on the CA set, I knew it would be difficult and that my performance in the game might suffer. But I knew it was worth it to build my own deck and not have to rely on renting one every season. It feels good to know that I'm getting stronger every day through my own perseverance.
Currently, I do rent some units, but they are ones that I don't currently have and want to see how they perform in battle. This makes it easier for me to choose which ones to buy in the future.
I am continuing with my plan for 2026 to acquire and improve common and rare units, and then move on to higher rarities. This is something that has worked for me in the past and allows me to have a balance of power.

Resultados
Durante esta temporada he seguido con mi rutina de tener batallas en el formato Frontier y el formato Moderno; ambos contribuyen en mi crecimiento como jugador. Al dividirme en ambos formatos, voy acumulando una variedad de unidades y sé que con el tiempo tendré un nivel aceptable para ligas superiores.
Sigo conservando la misma liga en el formato Frontier; ya es un nivel al que estoy acostumbrado y, en los momentos que tengo una mala racha, me recupero días después. Por otro lado, en el formato Moderno, mi límite por ahora es la liga Plata III; sé que puedo subir un poco más, pero me lo estoy tomando con calma mientras subo de nivel algunos invocadores (arcontes) y unidades.
Algo que me emociona contarles son mis resultados en los torneos. Participé en un total de 8 torneos donde terminé en unas buenas posiciones. El costo total para participar en estos torneos fue de 265 $DEC; gracias a tener buenos resultados en cada uno de ellos, terminé ganando en total 163 $SPS y 150 $DEC.
Mi mejor resultado fue en la Scarred Hand Novice Cup, donde logré llegar al top 3; es la primera vez que llego tan alto, me alegra mucho este resultado y lo que gane me ayudará a mejorar mi mazo de batalla.
Compras
Al terminar una temporada, me gusta actualizar mi mazo adquiriendo algunas unidades por medio de packs CA o cofres; en esta ocasión también realizo una compra de una unidad que quiero subir de nivel.
Use el Glint ganado durante la temporada para realizar 2 compras de 10 cofres menores, probando suerte, y la compra de 4 sorteos raros.
Algunas de las copias que obtuve el día de hoy me permitieron subir de nivel a las siguientes unidades.
Pasando al set CA core, solo compré un pack starter, ya que había decidido destinar una parte de mis recursos a comprar algunas en el mercado.
Esta apertura esperaba tener suerte y encontrar una copia de algún invocador (arconte) que facilitara mi elección al comprar en el mercado, pero no fue así.
Compré el invocador del elemento tierra; quería tener liderando a las unidades de este elemento en un nivel superior. Sé que me será de mucha ayuda en las batallas.
Esta Elfa es una de las unidades que más me gusta del set CA y quería desde hace tiempo subirla de nivel.
Como anteriormente solo me había enfocado en adquirir unidades comunes y raras, por lo cual era momento de pasar a la siguiente rareza. Decidí seleccionar a esta Elfa de fuego por ser una unidad que uso a menudo y su bajo costo.
Estas fueron mis compras para esta ocasión; seguiré comprando algunas copias de invocadores para subir de nivel los que tengo en nivel 1, además de ir adquiriendo otras épicas.
Pensamientos finales
Esta temporada fue divertida, me enseñó algunas cosas y, al redactar esta publicación, me detallé cómo voy mejorando. Cuando inicié a construir mi mazo con base en el set CA, sabía que me costaría mucho y que mi desempeño en el juego podía ser menor. Pero sabía que valía la pena por construir mi propio mazo y no depender de rentar cada temporada. Se siente bien saber que cada día voy fortaleciendo por mi propia constancia.
Actualmente, realizo algunas rentas, pero son de unidades que actualmente no tengo y quiero saber qué tal son en batallas. Eso me facilita escoger las que compraré en el futuro.
Sigo con mi plan para el 2026 de ir adquiriendo y mejorando las unidades comunes y raras, para después seguir con las rarezas superiores. Es algo que me ha funcionado anteriormente y me permite tener un balance de poder.
