Hi, Praetorians. I hope you are doing well and that you had a good season.
Today I want to tell you about what I got in the CA packs at the beginning of this season and how I am participating in the tournaments.
Packs Starter CA
At the beginning of this season I decided to make a first purchase of 6 starter packs.
In these I got 4 cards that I didn't have:
Two of the fire element and belonging to the Dwarf lineage: Portly Cannoneer and Ashen Cindergrim.
One of the earth element: A Divine Construct called Phlegmunculus.
One of the death element and belonging to the Gnome lineage: Deep Delver.
These cards motivated me to acquire another 2 packs and try my luck a little more. And they were worth it.
In these last 2 packs I got more copies of the water element summoner (archon) and one more new card for my deck.
- The elven unit of the earth element: Silverleaf Mage.
To sum up, I got copies of the water and dragon element summoners, plus several new units.
Now, I will tell you that I will be missing the following cards from each element in common and rare.

Some cards could reach level 2. In total I can level up 7 cards, but I consider it unnecessary for the moment. I will consider it for next season or when I can level up summoners.
Tournaments
Two seasons ago, I decided to participate in tournaments again and, as I said before, use them as a base to buy more packages. The previous season I made enough to buy a package and cover the cost of participating in each tournament.
For the current season I have started to sign up for a few more tournaments, although I have to rent some cards to participate in them. I consider it acceptable, I learn more about some cards and I am getting more chances to win something extra.
So far I have won 31 $SPS and soon will finish another 2 where I have managed to get a good position. In total I hope to participate in 7 more tournaments.
My most recent participation and where I made it to the second round is in the “Scarred Hand Novice Cup” tournament where only cards from the CA set are used.
In the first round, I had to fight most of the opponents assigned to me and there was only one no-show. I won 6 battles outright (plus 1 for the no-show opponent) and lost 3 of them.
The second round is for me the most difficult, all the opponents are players with a good level and possessing mostly a more complete set of cards. I won half of the battles in this round.
At the end of the tournament, I placed 16th. It is my best participation in a tournament this year.
So far I have earned 61 $SPS in tournaments this season, the goal is to reach 120 $SPS and be able to pass it to $DEC (at the time of writing this publication is equivalent to 1000 $DEC in the market), with this I will have one more starter package to buy in the next season.

El día de hoy quiero hablarles de lo que obtuve en los packs CA al inicio de esta temporada y cómo voy participando en los torneos.
Packs Starter CA
Al inicio de esta temporada decidí hacer una primera compra de 6 paquetes starter.
En estos conseguí 4 cartas que no poseía:
- Dos del elemento fuego y pertenecientes al linaje Dwarf: Portly Cannoneer y Ashen Cindergrim.
- Una del elemento tierra: Un Divine Construct llamado Phlegmunculus.
- Una del elemento muerte y perteneciente al linaje Gnome: Deep Delver.
Estas cartas me motivaron a adquirir otros 2 paquetes y probar un poco más la suerte. Y valieron la pena.
En estos 2 últimos paquetes conseguí más copias del invocador(arconte) del elemento agua y una carta nueva más para mi mazo.
- La unidad élfica del elemento tierra: Silverleaf Mage.
Para resumir, obtuve copias de los invocadores de los elementos agua y dragón, además de varias unidades nuevas.
Ahora, les cuento que me faltarían de cada elemento en comunes y raras, las siguientes cartas.

Algunas cartas podrían alcanzar el nivel 2. En total puedo subir el nivel de 7 cartas, pero considero que es innecesario por el momento. Lo consideraré para la siguiente temporada o cuando pueda subir de nivel a los invocadores.
Torneos
Hace 2 temporadas, decidí volver a participar en los torneos y, como dije anteriormente, usarlos como base para comprar más paquetes. La temporada anterior logré lo suficiente para comprar un paquete y cubrir el coste de participación en cada torneo.
Para la actual temporada he comenzado a inscribirme en unos torneos más, aunque tengo que rentar algunas cartas para participar en ellos. Lo considero aceptable, aprendo más sobre algunas cartas y voy teniendo más oportunidades de ganar algo extra.
Hasta el momento he ganado 31 $SPS y pronto terminarán otros 2 donde he logrado conseguir una buena posición. En total espero participar en otros 7 torneos más.
Mi participación más reciente y donde logré pasar a la segunda ronda es en el torneo de "Scarred Hand Novice Cup" donde solo se usan cartas del set CA.
En la primera ronda, tuve que luchar con la mayoría de oponentes que se me asignaron y solo hubo uno que no se presentó. Gané 6 batallas directamente (más 1 por el oponente que no se presentó) y perdí 3 de ellas.
La segunda ronda es para mí la más difícil, todos los oponentes son jugadores con un buen nivel y que poseen en su mayoría un set de cartas más completo. Gané la mitad de las batallas en esta ronda.
Al final del torneo, quedé en el puesto número 16. Es mi mejor participación en un torneo en este año.
Hasta ahora llevo ganado en torneos esta temporada 61 $SPS, la meta es llegar a 120 $SPS y poder pasarlo a $DEC (al momento de escribir esta publicación equivale a 1000 $DEC en el mercado), con esto tener un paquete starter más para comprar en la siguiente temporada.
