Today I want to talk to you a little bit about the importance of joining a clan, telling you a little bit about it, using myself as an example.
In addition to explaining a little bit about where to look for clans that have openings and/or are looking for members, and what benefits you get (a little bit about the gladius).
First, I want to tell you about my experience. When I joined #splinterlands, I didn't initially consider the importance of joining a clan. I thought it was more important to have better cards and a little more experience in the game. Several months passed before I looked for a clan to join, which was a serious mistake.
During the time I didn't have a clan, battles were more complicated when facing opponents who could use gladius cards. I practically lost most battles, and the few I won didn't count toward the bonus that the clan gives you in battle rewards.
My growth was very slow in those days.
By chance, I received a vote from the #fallenangels clan, which led me to check out their profile. After doing some research on them, I contacted them to see if they had a spot in their clan. I ended up joining their secondary clan, where I was able to learn more about battles, earn a reward in $SPS, and earn merits for my first gladius cards.
The battles in both formats (modern and wild) were a little easier, as I had more cards to fight with. In addition to winning more battles, my $SPS grew significantly.
I was in the secondary clan for about six months, until the clan leader invited me to join the main clan. The rewards are much greater, which has allowed me to get copies of some gladius cards much faster, to the point where I almost have the complete set (I'm missing one legendary card).
My experience so far has been very good, and I want to invite new players to find a clan from the start. You can learn a lot from your teammates and improve along the way.
Below, I'll share a little bit about where to find clans.
Guild
The first option for finding a clan is the game's own website.
There you will find the clan ratings, which you can filter by language, membership (open, application, and invitation) and hide full clans.
As an example, select the filters: Application, language (Spanish), and hide full clans.
I chose the secondary clan #fallenangels to show you where you can find information on how to contact them or, in some clans, the requirements you need to meet to join.
In many cases, the requirements are mainly to be active players and to belong to a particular league depending on the clan's level.
Another way to find a clan is on the #splinterlands Discord. There you can see posts from clan leaders looking for new members, explaining the clan's level and what requirements they have for players.
I suggest you look here first; you'll find something good more easily.
Although I have already mentioned it, by participating in clan battles you can receive a reward in $SPS and merits. This depends on the clan's results, the tier it is in, and your results.
The other benefit you receive is a glint bonus in qualifying battles.
You can see the clan bonus in the Lodge building; as an example, I will share my clan's bonus with you.
Yes, they ask about the battles they will have in the brawl. The leader usually tells you which slot to enter, or, if applicable, you can select the best option for you (if it is not occupied).
Merits are used to purchase gladius packs; go to Shop > Guild > Gladius Case. There you can purchase packs that cost 2,000 merits each.
After purchasing them, you will open them like any other package.
I want to show you the epic and legendary gladius cards, so you can see how some of them have very good stats or abilities from level 1, which can be very helpful in battles. And when you level them up, they become very powerful.
I also show you some of the common and rare gladius cards that are very good options. I point out the ones I use most often and the current level I have them at.
Conclusion
Joining a clan should be one of the first steps for new players who want to continue advancing in the game. The bonuses they receive in battle bonuses, $SPS, and cards are very important for their growth.
It doesn't matter what level the clan you join at the beginning is; it could be one of the many secondary clans that are there to test the level and responsibility of new players. After you demonstrate good behavior and responsibility in brawl battles, you may be invited to join a higher-level clan.

Quiero contarles primero por mi experiencia, es porque cuando me uní a #splinterlands, no consideré al inicio la importancia de unirme a un clan. Considere más importante tener mejores cartas y un poco de más experiencia en el juego. Pasaron varios meses hasta que busqué un clan al cual unirme, un grave error
Durante el tiempo que no tenía clan, las batallas eran más complicadas al enfrentarme a oponentes que podían usar las cartas gladius, prácticamente perdía la mayoría de batallas y las pocas que ganaba no contaban con el bonus que te brinda el clan en las recompensas de batalla.
Mi crecimiento fue muy lento en esos días.
Por casualidad, recibí un voto del clan #fallenangels, por el cual terminé revisando su perfil. Después de indagar un poco sobre ellos, los contacté para ver si tenían un cupo en su clan. Terminé uniéndome a su clan secundario, donde pudo ir aprendiendo más de las batallas, obtener una recompensa en $SPS y los méritos para mis primeras cartas gladius.
Las batallas en los dos formatos (moderno y wild) fueron un poco más sencillas, contaba con más cartas para luchar. Además de ganar más batallas, mi $SPS creció en gran medida.
Más o menos estuve por seis meses en el clan secundario, hasta que el líder del clan me invitó a participar en el principal. Clanes

No importa el nivel del clan al que se unan al inicio, puede ser uno de los muchos clanes secundarios, que están para probar el nivel y responsabilidad de los nuevos.
