September 2024’s HSBI Rewards for the FreeCompliments Community Have Been Sent Out!
September has closed itself upon us, welcoming the new month of October. We are continuing our program of rewarding our members and participants as outlined here. October 13th was the day that these and other monthly rewards have been sent out. Rewards for posts have already been sent out throughout the duration of the month.
We’ve optimized our count of comments, threads, and posts, thanks to the diligent work of @crazyphantombr. We’re organizing our data in a clearer way so that everyone can transparently see how we rewarded our wonderful community members and participants. We’ve also implemented some changes as how to we reward comments and Threads. Repetitive comments and Threads receive now very limited rewards (1 HSBI maximum if only repetitive content is posted in a non-spam manner).
We managed to get a little bit of info on referrals to the community this time – if you referred anyone to this community, or were referred by someone, please let me know asap!

Better than last month, but we certainly have more referrals than this, and I’m going to elicit @crazyphantombr to list his because I know he forgot to send them to me this time! Let’s keep up the work and reap those juicy HSBI rewards.

This time, we used @fc-rewards to distribute rewards. We will rotate between using this account and other community accounts. Regardless, all rewards end up pooled within the community; using other community accounts is just a way to extend the community’s overall post reach.
Our inaugural members remained steady at 518 based on our analysis, including some individuals with more than 1 account. Using Peakd is making our screenshots more efficient, so I’ll be using this frontend to capture the sent HSBI from now on!
This month, we had a huge increase in engagement with Threads, but strange circumstances with a couple of the biggest users on Threads caused some changes in our count and rewards! Hopefully this month we’re going to have a fresh start and count things properly. We’ve also had a notable decrease in comments, and I’m going to continue to work to increase these, including specifically marketing our rewards for comments. I always want to find ways to ensure the posts created within FC are getting human engagement and am always open to further suggestions.
Check if You’ve Been Rewarded Correctly!
We’re all human here, and mistakes can happen. That’s why it’s best to double-check that you’ve been rewarded as promised.
NOTE: if HSBI’s website is ever down, check your total HSBI status using the !sbistatus command in the comments.
The best way to check whether you received the rewards that you were due is to check up HSBI’s website and input your username. You’ll go here, enter your username, then click on transaction history, and finally on sponsored HSBI. Look for hive-140084 under “sponsor.”
If I missed out sending you on any rewards, please let me know promptly so that I can correct it. It takes up to a day to process what I sent out, so if you don’t see it by now, I’ll send whatever you let me know is missing.
Within a few days, we’re going to post our contest for the Post of the Month, Compliment of the Month, and Non-Compliment Comment of the Month. This time, we’ll have 2 winners for our Threads Engagement Contest because we stayed in the top 2 tags with #freecompliments throughout all of August – so a post will be coming up!
Outside of contests/rewards, we’re going to keep improving our mental health initiative and provide further incentives, as well as continue working on the financial aspect of the community. I’m going to continue offering new jobs, incorporating projects/tokens, and optimizing our reward system so that, in the long run, we’ll run as smooth as butter. Exciting stuff, if I may say so myself!
Conclusion
We’ve completed HSBI Unit payouts for August, and continue to build our curation power and other initiatives. The community is growing wonderfully, and the foundations for its functionality have already been set in concrete. Once Hive as a whole has a resurgence of active membership, we’re going to explode in activity, earn lucratively, and most importantly: spread joy far and wide!

Yes, I saw that. Thank you. Even though I don't know how the voting percentage will be calculated to make sure I receive the equivalent I would have gotten as HSBI.
No idea either... this is frankly an impossible calculation because there are too many open-ended factors. I just requested to double the vote!
This is why I was open to receiving HSBI. I believe one day my account will be out of the blacklist and I can finally make great use of the HSBI.
I've seen HW at work. They won't let go unless you actually bow down to their orders. Even then, they're relentless and sometimes don't let people off their blacklist. Power-hungry individual that runs that account on a day-to-day basis. :(
