Proposal for a Daily Complimenting Threadcast via the FreeCompliments Community

A little idea just popped up in the last pair of working brain cells I have remaining in my head, and I’d like to run it by you guys. It’s partly inspired by the Community Battles and Wars contest run by the InLeo Team (more information here), but I think can serve a couple of purposes.

Daily Complimenting Threadcast

Here’s how I picture this threadcast going: people tag each other with a compliment (maybe just a general compliment, or a compliment about their latest posts, comments, etc.). This could also serve as a good way to bring in new people to Threads by tagging them.

It will serve as a way to increase positive engagement within both the community and on Threads.

Not to mention, @fc-leo-curator can curate everything on this threadcast (if you’re up for it in exchange for a little raise, @stekene). We have a decent amount of staked LEO for those interested in earning it through our curation!

I know some people ask this every time threadcasts are mentioned: the way to start one is simply by writing #threadcast in your Thread. This only works on top-level Threads (i.e. not when you’re replying to someone).

Please let me know whether you’d like to participate!

I’ll only be starting this threadcast if enough people are interested, and are willing to participate on a daily basis. Our goal is to get more people involved in it and to keep them involved. Suggestions for keeping it active are always appreciated!

Conclusion

We’re proposing a daily complimenting threadcast on Threads. We think this is a form of positive engagement which will help us grow in the best ways possible. Please let me know if you want to be a part of it!

I would love to hear any and all opinions about this proposed thrreadcast from everyone who is currently a member of FreeCompliments, since you’re all inaugural members! Anyone else who finds this page is also very welcome to voice their opinion. We’re all about free speech, and everyone’s experience has value.
