I recognize the personal effort you have dedicated to FreeCompliments. I do not believe that the captain abandoning ship is the best decision. Is FreeCompliments about support or rewards? I believe it is about support, and support can be done by yourself, with the same users as before, right? Why don't you continue publishing and receiving rewards on your personal profile, instead of the community, and use that money for projects that you consider worthwhile? Or create side projects with rewards, if that is the problem, without destabilizing the core of the community? Just questions, I am not passing judgment on either side of the discussion. I just believe that leaving will not solve anything, and that restructuring the project, accepting the criticism that has been imposed, is the best option.

Personally, this is like a knife through the heart to me. I've been a supporter of yours since the very beginning. I remember you finding us and telling me your plans and me being like wow, such a great idea.

And you went above and beyond. You not only housed some of the most touched souls I've ever came across on here but you gave them jobs and purpose too -- I doubt many people realise how having purpose reinvigorates the spirits of the soul. You housed them and gave them jobs.

Hats off man, you did it better than I ever, ever could.

It's sad to see you go, but if it keeps you healthy in spirit, body, and mind, then that matters a lot. I wish you all the best in your adventures, and thank you for your selflessness and kindness to everyone. Please know that I am hoping this isn't the end of your Hive journey.

I feel like this all could have been avoided. Feelings got too heated on both sides and instead of communication, there was just anger and yelling. I again urge you to reconsider, just as I did in the SBI server. Take a few weeks off, let us work a "cease fire" so to speak, then dip your toes back in the water. You bring so much good to this platform. What you have created here is unique and is incredibly helpful to people. You have brought a positivity and good will here that Hive has rarely seen in one place. Rarely seen... never seen. @enginewitty has made a similarly positive group in #thealliance, but these kinds of things are rare. Yours and his, not much else. I've been here since the tail end of year one on the old chain. There has been hope at times, plenty of greed, far too many whale wars and bickering, but then the hope is always there. But what you brought... that was incredibly unique.

You can see that goodwill in all the positive comments you are receiving from people. I and others are working behind the scenes to try to increase understanding of the good you were doing here. Once again, give it a few weeks, focus on your life and your family and your mental health, but then dip your toes back here.

We all will of course respect your decision. If that's that, that's that. But I would encourage you to think about it and not be rash. You don't need to give a yes, but I hope you will reconsider giving a no. I sent you a friend request on Discord. We've talked many times, so I don't know why we never extended that to DM. But regardless, I am happy to keep you abreast of developments there and talk about things.

Regardless of whatever happens, thank you for all you've brought to Hive these past few years. We have really benefitted from your presence.

It's sad to see you go mate and whatever happened has happened, should not have happened. Although this is not the first time happening such drama at hive. Hope you find your mental peace and see if you can stay here if your mental health allows.

Eventho I'm rarely here in the community but always happy to see your work since the first day you started this project. I'm sad that you had to leave not sure why you left but I guess some people don't like to see other rise. I've been here for 3 years plus now I understand similar things might happen to you as well.

Look after your mum, they are wonderful creatures, I had acute sinusitis that hospitalised me a few years ago,and how I found out about having sinus problems!

I appreciate all you that you have done for people here on Hive and on Reddit too, and was one of the first members that joined the Free Community, and loved being tagged in your posts, thank you for that.

Having worked in many developing countries I applauded the work you were doing especially around mental health. It is very easy for people who were born with electricity and internet so to speak to scoff at others.

But in saying all that, I am a firm believer in positivity and fun. I don't do negativity and remove myself from it.

You will be sorely missed. I wonder what sort of medicine you will specialise around in the future.

I am so sad I don't know how to express it. The only thing I have to tell you is that you inspired me to create a new community, you made me think that I might be able to run a community even though I have little HP.

I have so many things to say and not precisely know how to do it ...

First, my heart is broken to see that you retire, I deceive myself by saying that it is to attend to your mother and take care of getting love in your life, but we all know that the real reason was another. I can only tell you that as one of the first members of FC I will always be in Discord to talk with you, what you want at the time you want, and this because I know how valuable and brave you are, everything you deliver in good faith to Hive.

Secondly, I feel extremely offended, hurt and mourning, because you have been forced to give in and leave the block chain. Hive lost a unicorn, one of the very few left, what I am not going to forget who is the one who has been responsible for this, and I assure you that my part he will never have my support from now on. On this side my soul is full of anger, fury and much contempt to see that this situation is repeated again in Hive, causing a magnificent person to abandon their projects.

I wonder: so this is how they plan to made grow Hive?, So they promote the onboarding of new users?, Sincerely what they do with their hands , they destroy it with their feet, what a impression that a newcomers are going to be carried when they find out that things like this happen?, and that those who have the power, use it to fuck up a complete community?.
