How to Search for and Join Communities on Hive Using InLeo’s Interface!
Start With Your Landing Page
When you enter inleo.io as your URL and log in, you’ll find yourself on the landing page:
To search for communities, click on “Communities” on the menu on the left.
You’ll land on the following page with a fairly comprehensive list of communities. Scroll until you find one of interest and then click “Join.”
What if I want to join a specific community without endlessly scrolling for it?
A great question. You simply use the Search function at the top of the page. Here’s how it looks using the Search function (I will search for the 2 communities I created, FreeCompliments and Am I The Asshole):
When searching, make sure that your spelling is correct! The search engine is not able to find similar results even if the spelling is off by a single character.
When clicking on the community, you’ll land on the community’s front page. From there, you can click around and comment on people’s posts, or publish your own.
That’s it! You’ve now mastered the art and science of searching for and joining communities.
By the way, feel free to use @sample-account to experiment with the interface if you’re not comfortable creating or using your own account just yet. I’ve made this account public for everyone to use. Just please don’t use it to post illegal or stolen content! You can get a copy of the .json file and password by joining either of these Discords (FreeCompliments Discord or AmITheAsshole Discord), where I’ll have the file publicly uploaded.
Please use this referral code to sign up to InLeo / Hive! I can see everyone who signs up using this code, and I will be able to personally help you navigate the website. Don’t worry, I don’t bite (unless you want me to 😉).
If this is your first time reading about InLeo / Hive, and you’re interested in signing up, click here for a brief tutorial on how to sign up. It’s very quick and easy (when the blockchain’s nodes are running, lol!).
Here is a tutorial on how to log into InLeo / Hive with your account once you’ve logged out.
Finally, here’s an article on how to draft and publish articles on InLeo.
Note: the above articles will be published over the next few days, and the links edited in.

It's a good rundown, at least newbies can use this to connect easily with communities. Also it would also be nice if the system was able to auto complete search. I know this will be possible in the near future.
