Love is a beautiful thing that we all get to experience at one point in our lives. It's one of those beautiful experiences that when experienced, leaves you feeling good.
Love is a force that cannot be competed with, it inspires, it drives one to achieve great things, it can be challenging at times, and at other times, it helps us confront our fears.
Ever been in love before? Trust me you wouldn't see the flaws of the other person, all you see is almost perfection. I'd said that when in love, our brain releases an array of chemicals including oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Out of these dopamine is the one that really interests me, it makes us feel pleasure when we are with that person that we love, so you see, when you fall genuinely in love every part of your being has a role to play.

I was just listening to Elvis Presley's song I Can't Help Falling in Love with You and I couldn't help but listen and smile at the wonderful lyrics of the song. The I Can't Help Falling in Love with You expresses the feeling of being drawn to someone irresistibly, even when it kicks against reason and logic.
Most times when we find love we're skeptical about going in, so many 'what ifs' running through our minds, but if you don't trust the process and just follow your heart, you will never know and in the end, you will still be in the state of uncertainty.
One of the themes the songwriter explored in this ever-green song is trusting and following your heart, don't let anybody tell you otherwise if you're convinced you love someone, go all out and express it, as in the end you're only answerable to yourself.
One thing I got from the song writer about love is that it never grows old, as long as it is in the right environment and being nurtured, it is ageless. Just like you plant a seed and begin to nurture it, it keeps growing, so also when love is nurtured it blooms.
I recently saw a video that showed an older couple in a restaurant, then a young couple came in and the guy gave the lady a flower and hugged her before pulling out her chair for her to sit so they could eat, all the while this was happening the older lady kept looking at this young couple. The older man then took the cue and went and got a flower for his lady and brought it to her, she was all smiles and was blushing. It didn't end there as he had to take out the chair for her to sit, and she kept smiling and telling him thank you and even gave him a kiss. This shows that love never grows old, the people in love might, but love is always green when in the right environment.
The song inspired me to love without reservation, to open my heart to love when I find it. So when next you find a good person and fall in love, love with all of your heart, give it your all, if it doesn't work out fine, if it does, lovely, but all I am saying is give love a chance to grow and bloom, so you get to experience what it feels like to be in love. That dopamine rush that fills your entire being is something everyone should experience.
