It's Another Hive Power Up Day

Hello Everyone, I'm so excited today, can you guess why?

It's the first of June and it's Hive Power Up Day, yeah you heard me right. Since I joined the block chain, this is the second time I will be powering up and it feels so nice.

So it's that time of the month where we power up our Hive tokens to get more Hive Power (HP)and not just that, but to also to give back to the ecosystem, everyday we collect, but on this day, it's for the giving back. Powering up means more Hive Power (HP) which means increased voting power here on the block chain. And the fun part of the HPUD is that you just might be lucky and win a prize.

I recently joined the #newbieinitiave here on Hive, and the first task we were asked to do was to write out our Hive goals for the next 2months. Before now I've just been on and off here, I haven't really taken things seriously, but that changed some weeks ago, I'm getting intentional about my journey and growth here on Hive.

Among my goals for the next 2 months, I wrote down that I wanted to hit 500HP, I felt it was a bit realistic as I was at 220HP as at the time, but there are sometimes I feel like can I really reach this mark, and there are other times I believe that with consistency and more work I can. I'm doing all I possibly can to make 500HP a reality in the coming months. So I'm keeping my finger crossed and seeing how it all turns out.

So for today, I was able to power up 10 Hives, it might not really be much, but it was something for me, as I increased from 245HP to 255HP, that's a step in the right direction for me. I hope I'm able to get to my goal.

I'm still in the learning process here on Hive, and I keep getting better everyday, going forward, I'm gonna keep exploring Hive and enjoying the fun that comes with it.
