Embracing Individuality

Hello guys, how are you all doing, happy new week, hope you had a restful weekend and trust your day is going well.

I've come to understand so many things now that I am an adult, more like things have become clearer to me. One of the things I've come to understand with time is the individuality of people.

Are you the same as every other guy/lady? If not, what makes you different?

Am I the same as every other lady? absolutely no. Even with identical twins who seemingly have the same physical features and share some biological traits, you can still find them exhibiting distinguishing attributes. I'll take myself and my sister as an example, I am more of a reserved person, not one of many words, but plenty of thoughts, but my sister on the other hand is the life of the party, she makes friends so easily, she is very outspoken when compared to me. So you see even among siblings from the same parents differences in personalities, characters lifestyles, etc still exist.

Often when people get betrayed by a person from a certain gender, you hear them say stuff like 'all girls are the same, and guys are the same'. I for one think that statement comes from a place of hurt and nothing more as people know for a fact that everyone isn't the same, but because of the hurt that has been inflicted on them by that particular gender, they begin to see every one of that gender having the capacity to hurt or deceive people as they were hurt or deceived, it's more psychological than it is physical.

What Makes Me Different From Other Girls

Well for one I am me, I am Elfreda, even if any other person bears Elfreda, she isn't me. Since we were asked to talk about what makes us different from others; here it goes, I'm one of the sweetest girls you would ever find on this blockchain 😂 yeah you heard me right, I'm a Christian and take my spiritual life seriously and I love people.

I'm that girl who's always looking for ways to improve herself and become a better version of herself. I am that girl who is always on the lookout to engage in anything that is legitimate and can give me that extra income because there's something sweet about having that extra income because there's a lot it can take care of.
I am not where I want to be yet financially, but I know with a little more push and smart work I'll get there, if not now but eventually.
Every day I keep praying to God to give me good health to enable me to
pursue my dreams and actualize them.

I am someone who doesn't joke with my beliefs, but I am also flexible. I give allowance to those who don't share in my beliefs because what is a society without diversity and tolerance, I recently wrote about it here.

I am a very loyal and supportive friend, I'm not trying to blow my trumpet, but if you have me in your corner, be rest assured that you have a cheerleader, because I will keep cheering you on until you win because your win is also my win and my win your win as well.

least I forget, I am a lover of family, I love my family a lot, words can't describe how much I love them and how much they mean to me, I can go to any length for them, I also love it when I see very loving families, it spurs something in me, and makes me want to be better so when I start having my own family, we can build something sustainable that can stand the test of time.

So yeah I'm not your regular girl, I'm not like every other girl, I am me, beautiful, unique, worthy, courageous and awesome.
