A Grateful Heart

Hi guys, trust you're having a good day. I'm feeling very good today as I got some really good news.

We are always told to celebrate our wins, both the small ones and the huge ones. I feel like the more you celebrate your wins, no matter how small they are, it paves the way for the bigger ones. So today I am celebrating myself for how far I have come, it hasn't been easy, but with God and hard and smart work, the results are becoming a reality.

So today, while I was at the office going about my work, I got a call to report to the HR department, and lo and behold, my confirmation letter was given to me. I was really excited as it was another milestone that I was able to hit.

I'm grateful because I can say that I'm on a journey, I don't know the destination, but the fact that I'm going somewhere is a thing of joy. I do my best to improve myself on a regular basis, and this shows because I am no longer where I used to be.

Sometimes we feel like nothing is happening in our lives, but look closely, you would notice that things are going on, little improvements here and there, little expertise here and there, but they might be so little that if you don't look closely you might miss them, but trust me, they are there.

Just recently, like some days ago, I decided to start keeping a gratitude journal, so that I could consciously keep track of my wins and be grateful for them, and I am loving it so far. I just hope I stay consistent with the process.

This post wasn't supposed to be so long. I just wanted to share this with my hive family. Please learn to be grateful for the things that you have, as what you look down on might be someone else's prayer point or desire. Gratitude also has a way of opening doors and keeping other doors open.
