Why is there so much evil in the world

Of a truth, there is so much evil in the world. It cuts across races and ages. This shows really that the devil is the ruler of the world because every evil comes from the devil. The reasons for the evils are many and varied.

Inordinate ambition is one of the reasons for evil in the world. Some people are too ambitious that they commit so many evils to make sure they have their ways. Peer pressure is another reason for evil in the world. There are people who cannot ordinarily harm an ant but because of the influence of their peers, they become so hardened that they commit all sorts of evil.

The urge to get rich quick push some people, especially youths of nowadays into commiting evils to achieve their aims. The explosion of the world’s population is another reason for increment of evil in the world.

Lastly, it is the sign of the last days when evil will be on the increase according to the scripture in 2 Timothy 3:1-2.
