Passing faith unto your children

Faith is a strong trust or confidence in something. In christiandom, faith is a strong belief in something to happen when it has not happened. It is the bedrock on which Christianity is built. Without faith, Christianity cannot stand. Christians of old demonstrated strong faith in the lord and it worked wonders for them. Somebody like Abraham showed unprecedented faith in the lord and it earned him the father of the faithfuls.

The bible is replete with the works of faith both in the old and new testaments. Therefore, we can pass faith unto our children through scriptural teachings that centre on faith. We can lay emphasis on the teachings by pointing out the biblical. Personalities who demonstrated faith in the course of their missionary activities in the bible, chief of them was the lord Jesus Christ.

We can also pass faith unto our children by exercising it ourselves when the need arises. Faith can also be passed unto our children through persuasion and words of encouragement. The combination of the above factors coupled with prayers will build faith in our children.
