Fun and interesting visit; I had a blast from my Guinness World Records Museum Experience

It was a nice sunny day when we went to Alamo Plaza, San Antonio, Texas, to visit one of the many museums there. The one that caught my eye was the Guinness World Records Museum. I remembered when I was still a kid, I used to watch a show on TV about Guinness World Records, and I knew that I would see incredible and shocking world records that I had only seen in books or on TV.

And as expected, I was not disappointed. As you can see in the picture above, it was the man who held the record of “Cockroaches Most Eaten”. And yes, I almost vomit, but there are people like that existing in this world, and I am glad I came over, and even in the picture, I saw it firsthand.

This is a real and actual NASA “Astronaut Training Suit”. I took a picture of it since this is just a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see an actual suit of astronaut. It looks very heavy to me, but I am sure that it’s no longer going to be heavy if they are already up there in space.

The world's tallest man was Robert Wadlow of the USA, who stood at 8 feet, 11.1 inches. He was twenty-two (22) years old when he passed away in June 1940. The tallest living man is Radhouane Charbib from Tunisia, who was measured seven feet (7), 8.9 inches or 2 meters, 35.9 cm. While the shortest living person was a woman named Paulina Musters from the Netherlands, she measured 2 feet or 61 cm. She passed away on March 1st, 1895.

A wax figure of a young, famous, and legendary Michael Jackson was there. I was so mesmerized when I saw it because it looked real. I suddenly feel sad remembering how he died, but yes, he was a Guinness World Record holder for the best-selling album of all time, “Thriller”. He was recognized as the “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time.”

I bought one of these medallions as a souvenir or a remembrance of the time that my husband and I came over to visit. These are coins that show Texas and say, “The Lone Star State.” Texas was known as the Lone Star State because of the single star on its flag, and it also symbolizes Texas independence and unity, independence that the State gained from Mexico.

From the room where you can scream on top of your lungs, from the tallest bowling ball stack, the world’s largest sneakers, and so much more. The Guinness World Records Museum is the place to be. Not only that, they also prepared some fun activities for the visitor to try on so that they can also set their world record. It’s a fun museum and you can discover and learn a lot. It’s a museum suited for all ages; everybody can enjoy it.
