History

Let us take you back to the mid-90s, a time when the Internet was a mesmerizing new playground. It was during those formative years, as a teenager teaching HTML and Java Script to seniors in Los Angeles, that the seeds of Foxloader were first planted. With a keen eye on streamlining data entries and exporting them into documents, we envisioned a seamless interaction between technology and logistics.

Having grown up in Switzerland, I embarked on an educational journey to India in pursuit of IT knowledge. Meanwhile, a childhood friend and programming enthusiast from my neighborhood charted a parallel path, ultimately obtaining an engineering degree from the prestigious ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and pursuing a PhD in autonomous systems and artificial intelligence.

Recognizing the complementary skill sets we possessed, I shared my childhood idea with my friend, seeking his expertise in bringing it to life. With my passion for logistics, instilled by my parents who owned a freight forwarding company, and my unwavering commitment to eco-friendly alternatives, we forged ahead with a shared vision.

Privacy, data ownership, and the value of data became focal points for us. We were determined to build a platform that placed individuals and companies as the custodians of their own data, while fostering collaboration and mutual benefit with like-minded players in the logistics industry. In 2017, we launched our first iteration, the MVP known as Foxloader, with the promise of "Smart Logistics made easy."

Logo Design

We started with a sketch and I got very excited about the Logo of the fox head.

So excited in fact, I actually got a hand made embroidery of it made on a bag.

In the pursuit of uniqueness, we gave our logo a foxy makeover. While it may have sparked memories of other clever foxes and metamorphic masks, we embraced the fox as a symbol of intelligence and cunning. Because when it comes to smart solutions, who better to trust than a sly little fox to embark on a foxy adventure?

As we progressed, our logo evolved. Inspired by the innate qualities of the fox, we envisioned its hair and ears as sensors, symbolizing our commitment to data-driven insights. In 2023, we further refined our logo, incorporating a Fibonacci spiral to represent growth and renewal.

Incorporating the golden ration and reviewing it's design, we came up with a final version for the Logo.
