Rest in Peace L, you will be missed

My Aunt's daughter from a previous marriage died today. She's our cousin by virtue of family not directly by blood. Not someone I remember meeting very often but probably saw her more than 10 times while growing up. She was older than us and we didn't see those cousins as often as other cousins.

She had cancer and had been doing well given that the cancer was in more than one organ. She had responded well to immunotherapy I think. Maybe they were wrong.

There was a chance that she could have had more healthy years ahead of years maybe a natural life but she collapsed today at home and the paramedics couldn't resuscitate at home or after they brought her to the hospital.

She is married and has two young children. And is in her early 40s.

Probably should be saying was instead of is but it's so recent.

I cried a lot today and struggled badly to concentrate at work. I can't go home to my home country for the funeral as I live thousands of kms away. That sucks as I want to be there for my Mam at this time. I'm sure she is hurting
