RE: Enhanced games - Good or a bad Idea.

It takes away the illusion about clean sport and allows for monitoring of performance vs risk of what athletes are doing anyway.

In clean sports if you presume the best other athletes are doping then many athletes likely feel they have to dope to level the playing field. And the financial gain of winning appears to be worth the risks of being caught or health risks.

Enhanced games make it more transparent. I'll watch it especially with Irish involved and see what they can achieve with open doping.

Ireland takes pride in being clean but the results speak for themselves, we produce or import world class rugby players, produce golfers, once in a generation talent at rowing, boxing, swimming.
I personally knew athletes that competed for Ireland, but there's no living in it, journeymen making ends meet with a grant and part time job. There's pride in being honest and not doping and doing well in spite of knowing it's tilted against you and it's an honour for guys and girls to represent Ireland of course.

I suppose we're the best at hurling, gaelic football and having the craic.

Hope you have a good Christmas and New Year!
