Its usually made to get more dificult as it goes... but that's the way of any game.
Anyhow... it depends on which anno.... initial ones were very different from new ones.

1604 is like 5% of what 1800 is.

And you might be saying 1602 right? or was it 1404 (which then it might be more comparable)?
yeah 1602…1604 was a different historical year😅 1602 was simple in comparison. You‘re right it startet to become real simulation with 1404.
