You can use a lithium battery if you want... All you need is a compressing spike (used to make holes on stuff) that feeds from the same lithium battery, and if activated using Bluetooth or something similar, it will catch fire pretty quickly.

Then all you need is to broadcast the signal (set the arm mode) and leave your phone or a the Bluetooth host/transmitting device, near the bike (in range). Should last for days with battery.

If someone steals it, after 10-15 meters, it will catch fire... 😎
You can also put a safety timer on it, like say, 10 min, and if it returns back to the same zone, the trigger does not go on.
