Why do the Hive elite support public funds going toward the brand new 'Hive Snaps' app, but not InLeo, the already built out, revenue generating version of the same thing?

Am I missing something here?

I really don't know why they support it.
There are a ton of weird decisions from the elite on here, the 1% I guess we could call it.
Not because it's 1% of Hive but because their logic is just 1% of everyone else's

Oh I know!

But come on, blocktrades for example is a businessman. Why would he be happy to piss his money away?

Or is it legitimately just funnelling money from the fund into the pockets of them and their mates?

funneling money into the pockets of their mates.
Same as the last 5 years.

They have done everything they can to fund each other and drive businesses away.

I myself and other game studios have been driven away.

We had real revenue and were going to buy Hive the way LSTR is buying LEO.

Hive is a zombie token and a dead end as far as I am concerned.

they will never support what they can't control.

Gotta get the money out of the fund and into their pockets somehow I guess...

Gotta say, I'm puzzled too. Why fund a new 'Hive Snaps' app when there's already a working, money-making version? Feels like the elite might be chasing shiny new toys instead of supporting proven projects. What’s the logic here 🚀

The 'Hive elite' being the top handful of stakeholders.

If you're in the top 5, you pretty much control what happens in governance and the DHF.

agreed.
which makes the chain a centralized pile of garbage.

it was all ill-gotten gains.

This is why I am 100% on Leo and LeoDex as the future.

they want to pour money into their own pockets instead of into pockets of apps that could potentially bring actual use to Hive.

Nothing will ever change here.

Leo is smart getting out and becoming a real revenue generating business.
